We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Italian country house. The property is charming, well maintained, and exactly what we were hoping for in a countryside retreat. Check-in was easy, and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay.The location is excellent—close to Orvieto and many lovely small towns to explore, with a grocery store and gas station about a 15-minute drive away.A note for future guests: this is a genuine countryside home, not a luxury city property, and that’s part of its charm. As you would expect in a rural setting, we noticed a few ants in the kitchen on our first day. The owner responded to our message almost immediately, directed us to the ant powder provided in the house, and the issue was completely resolved. We had no further problems for the rest of our stay.The house is also fairly close to the highway, so there is some road noise. We were aware of it, but it did not bother us at all and certainly did not affect our enjoyment of the property.Our only minor issue was with the booking information. We reserved through Vrbo, and it was not clearly communicated that bed linens and towels were an additional charge (20 per person). This appears to have been a communication issue between the booking platform and Novasol rather than a problem with the house itself.Overall, we loved our stay and would happily return. A wonderful base for exploring Orvieto and the surrounding region.
