“The facilities are not good enough to my standards; nevertheless, the personnel of the Hotel is fantastic, all of them are kind, warm and helpful, if I come back there will be because of them not because of the hotel.”

“We had a wonderful stay ..the staff were friendly”

“Very much they passed all our expectations in every thing, breafast and the restaurant for dinner time, clean room, very friendly staff. Thank you, Ahmed”

“las fotos de la publicidad no reflejan la realidad las habitaciones son horribles del año 1972 sin reformar no hay ascensor la playa sucia en general todo viejo nada recomendable”

“There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! ”

“Kind staff, room service available. Difficult to access, especially with flooding, means walking across wooden planks to get there. WiFi very intermittent and slow.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Bamburi Villas, Divine the manager was ready to help from the time we reached till the time we left. Felt at home. We will be back”

After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. After leaving the place, the owner refused to give me refund claiming he did not know I left, when I...

“Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area..”

“First it is not a hotel but studios. The amenenities are very old, the wall paper was peeling and the neighbourhood feels very insecure for a woman travelling alone. It is 1 km from the beach. There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers”

“all”

“They do not accept reservation through Expedia. Stay away from this property. The area is dusty and far from the beach.”
