“This VRBO is Central to everywhere I need to go when I'm in Bakersfield. It is the perfect location. I have stayed in the three bedroom unit twice, and it's suited us very well. Unfortunately, this time our neighbors upstairs were noisy. No voices, just footsteps, doors, chairs scraping the floor, and the like. ”

Was evident that Mike and Di had invested time and energy into paying attention to detail to make this work for us non campers. “Lovely place! You can tell someone cared about the details. Coffee is important to us and we were pleased we were supplied a few pods to get us started the next day. Our room had a full kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. Bathroom was very unique, more of a shower room. The walls were a bit thin but was quiet when we needed it to be.”

“The location is perfect as it’s close to shops and walkable area. I enjoyed my stay. Very clean and cute space. Only issue I had was my dog escaped through part of the fence that was not low enough to the ground. Luckily, it isn’t a super busy street so it was okay. Aside from that, it was a perfect space for our little retreat. Will definitely be back again.”

“The place was exactly as listed, kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. Easy parking and access to load/unload. Quiet and fun watching the wild turkeys roam around. ”

“The condition of the property was excellent. Clean, warm, and welcoming inside. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the shower in the master bedroom was wonderful. One minor problem: the second bathroom didn't have an electrical outlet, so could not run the hair dryer.
