“There were blood on the carpet, it was terrible”

“We had 5 adults in our group. This home was perfect for us. It's close to public transportation, but just far enough away from downtown. The owner and neighbors are friendly. Seriously.....take a walk around and talk to the locals. They know all the best spots! Home is clean and spacious. Gas station, restaurants, etc are within walking distance. If you are like us and cook on vacation there are tons of pots and pans. However, if you need to bake something, consider bringing a casserole dish or...

“The house was very clean as described. Will definitely rent out again and will recommend to family and friends.”

“Decided to stop on the drive back from Gulf Shores to allow some family members to experience New Orleans. It is a super cute place located next to the Sheriff’s outpost so we felt safe which was important as we had children with us. Hosts and property management team were very helpful, very kind and responsive! And super easy check out as no instructions like towels in washer, etc. just a simple reply, “housekeeping will take care of everything, just have a safe trip home” which was nice. And...

“For us (family of 3), we had a planned 2-day stop in New Orleans at the tail end of a family getaway to Gulf Shores, Alabama before heading home to Houston, Texas. This was our first time staying outside the French Quarter, and this place was perfect! I can't say enough about how lovely this place is. The interior decor says NOLA throughout with all the little touches. Plus, there is plenty of space to stretch out, a spacious kitchen with amazing coffee (per my hubby), great wifi, hot water in...

“Great place!”

“Clean and as described. No issues. Would stay again.”

“Stay was nice there was just nowhere to hang my clothes in master bedroom. Other than that everything was ok.”

“From arrival to departure our stay was an excellent experience. This Mid-City home was the perfect location to enjoy everything from the French Quarter, Garden District, etc, plus the local Mid-City restaurants and Trader Joe's. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Not to mention the wonderful host who was a great communicator and attentive! Highly recommend!”

“Very friendly and intentional host. Location convenient for all NOLA needs. Home unique to Louisiana history. Would definitely use host for future visits. ”

“The place is exactly as shown in the photos, very clean, quiet and conveniently located. Comunication was excellent throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer and dryer were excellent as well. Parking was a little difficult, but with a bit of patience we were able to find a spot for our car. I truly recomend this place 100% and would definitely rent it again withour hesitation. My family and I are very grateful for such a pleasant stay. ”

“Canceled at last minute ”

“This is basically a youth hostel and our room was full of termite wings. Like all over the bed and pillows and tables and even in the bathroom and I was told it would be fixed but it wasnt and there wasnt even a dust buster to clean them up. Some drunk girl slept on the front porch on the floor. But it was cheap and decent location.”

“Very clean and accommodating. Please note the house is a duplex with a shared front porch and a shared backyard.”

“the place was beautiful, nice area, spacious, nice sitting area”

“Super convenient location; close to tourist locations and SUNO where we attended graduation. Plenty of food, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy and grocery within 5-10 min drive. Clean, modern fresh remodel. Comfortable beds, bedding, We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and backyard. Off street parking. Downside: Traffic/ trolley noise in the front bedroom (The other rooms very quiet, slept well); Open crawl space under house should be closed off. Stray cats around the property, did not bother us...

“The location is fantastic. The ceiling fan in the room didn’t work and we asked about that but never heard back. We were locked out for an hour one afternoon because the main door code had changed and no one told us. Other than that, we really enjoyed the location. You can walk to several coffee places and delicious restaurants.”
