We loved going to a little coffee shop downtown every morning and watching the locals come and go in their morning routine and trying to communicate with them.
You'll enjoy the museums and monuments in Certaldo Alto. You might want to make time for a stop at Casa del Boccaccio or Palazzo Pretorio.

The rooms were clean, and the staff was quite friendly. They also provided us with a complementary welcome drink as well as complimentary mini bar inside the room, which was appreciated. Overall the stay was quite excellent.

Everything is also well done with this hotel group - clean, nice amenities, friendly staff. Perfect location to all of the sights.

Breakfast was really nice and fresh juices are available self serving. Great selection of cheeses.. wonderful ‘lobby’. Out in the open. 5 night stay in Florence, arrived a couple of hours ahead of check-in time but were lucky enough the room was ready for us. Amazing room with a huge shower and jacuzzi in the bathroom.
