Exactly as advertised. Property was extremely clean & was a great value. Joanna and the rest of the staff were very responsive & accommodating. Easy walk to old town & only steps from the waterfront. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

A gem!

We were in Chania last year and walked past this property. It looked so interesting, we tracked it down to book it for 2025 and were not disappointed. Waking up to the sea view was wonderful: sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee watching the world go by was even better! There is a supply of plates, bowls and cutlery if you want to do some basic self-catering - and we went hunter-gathering at the amazing local market for olives, cheese and tomatoes to do just that. We really enjoyed being close to the Old Town to explore when we wanted, and far enough from the hectic tourist throngs when we wanted something quieter. The beach is safe and shallow, with great snorkelling in the bay (beach towels supplied if requested) unless whipped up by winds, when it's lovely watching the surf crash in from the safe distance of one of the local bars. A warm welcome on arrival and helpful suggestions for places to go/ things to do in an extensive brochure in the room. Design features are really attractive (although we never worked out how to keep water in the bathroom washbasin in the absence of a plug). This area has suffered historically but is definitely in the process of changing and modernising - worth visiting and enjoying its authenticity before it becomes too commercialised and popular. We loved it!

We had such an amazing time. Almost a therapy by the sea. Eveything is clean ans smell so good in the hotel. The emplacement is just perfect aswell not too much in the busy part but not to far everything is walkable easiky we didnt had to move the car over there. We had a warm welcoming by the staff and same when leaving with few recommandations that we really appreciated. If we ever come back tk crete we will rent the same room with balcony for sure. Already miss my room over there 😅

Deuxième séjour dans ce petit hôtel très bien situé dans chania, façade à la mer un peu à l’écart de la zone touristique. Les chambres sont très bien équipées avec une super literie, une cafetière expresso et deux petites bouteilles d’eau par jour. Je recommande.

Exceptional Spa-Like Stay with unmatched hospitali

My recent stay at this accommodation was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the best staff and hostess I have ever encountered. Initially, I made a blunder by double booking this place and another hotel on a different platform. I completely forgot about this booking but ended up here after receiving an email for web check-in. Upon arrival, I was shocked to realize it wasn't the hotel I initially intended to stay at. However, the staff quickly and efficiently traced my booking. They empathized with my situation and kindly offered breakfast at a posh restaurant to help offset the extra costs I incurred, making me feel much better. Their incredible service didn't stop there. They recommended and booked restaurants around Chania, ensuring we avoided overpriced options and truly experienced the local area. The location is ideal, just a stone's throw from the seaside, with many restaurants around. Parking is relatively convenient. The highlight was the room: it was very comfortable with high-end furnishings, an extremely comfortable bed, and a luxurious shower with a jacuzzi spray and lovely aromatherapy toiletries. Although the room wasn't very large, it was clean, safe, and provided a spa-like experience. Despite initially being upset and affected by my booking blunder and the additional costs, I am grateful I ended up at this accommodation. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Man kann sich aber durch vorhandene Teller und Besteck und eine nahegelegene Bäckerei auch selbst versorgen. Ein kleiner Sand-Strand ist nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Kostenfreier Parkplatz hinterm Haus.

Stylish and modern living among ruins

What a modern and nice place located at the beach walk close to the harbour with restaurants all around. The service was amazing, but there is no reception. Maybe I’m a bit old fashioned but I would have prefered to receive some kind of check in info before ariving. From the hotel you are only minutes away from the old Venezian town, but still the surroundings are a mix of abandoned buildings and somewhat renovated houses. What we specially liked was the showers and the friendly and very helpful hostess!

We had the only room with a balcony that we appreciated very much as we enjoyed meals and drinks there overlooking the sea and mountains while watching people stroll and jog along the gorgeous promenade. The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the wonderful and charming main part of Chania’s Harbor front, but not right in the hustle and bustle. Therefore it was more peaceful, as we prefer. If you prefer to be right where the action is, you’ll undoubtedly pay more for less; e.g., the large balcony. We fell in love with the waterfront district of Chania town! It is a walkers heaven with amazing delights for all the senses! And so many wonderful, too-many-to-count tavernas! And so many friendly people at all the establishments! The unit was impeccably clean and even refreshed that way daily with the exceptional housekeeping service. Thank you! It was a joy to come back to the clean room and restocked water bottles each day! The advice and suggestions we were given on what to see, what and where to eat, were simply amazing as we did what was suggested and loved it all! So a huge thank you goes out especially to Iwavvana . You are a wonderful person and host who we are very happy to now be friends with! You are genuine and loving host to us who made our stay in Chania so much more exceptional than it might have been by your caring and helpful way! Also, we had a rental car and it was so wonderful to never have a problem parking right at the property!

The hotel is located on a quiet street right by the water! We rented a car to get around the island and this hotel has parking! Finding parking within chania is nearly impossible it seems. The hotel/room was exceptional and i highly recommend it! Its about 10-15 min walk from the main shopping boutiques.

Modern hotel - balcony made up for tiny room size

Great location, we especially appreciated the parking in front of the hotel. We could walk everywhere, but appreciated being a bit outside of the noise and density of the old town. Room had a big private balcony and was very well set up, but incredibly small. Check in and general info was very unclear, staff is there in the morning but no one was present at check in time and I had to reach out for check in instructions. (Email with arrival information came day after we arrived) Local info in room (restaurants etc) was out of date.

A peaceful gem

This little gem was perfect for us—away from the busyness of Chania town, but still close enough to walk there, with the sea at our feet and dining options just steps from our door. The room and amenities were fantastic, and communication with the helpful staff and owners was always great. And the terrace was magical!
