Everything was great! We loved our stay and experience! We got to enjoy the jacuzzi will my son napped on the patio bed. Our fur babies loved the yard and patio! They love being outdoors. We were very pleased with our stay.

Great Short Stay

I was in town for a quick stay, and my dog and I were pleased with how tidy and accommodating Natalie's place was. We definitely would've spent more time on the screened in porch if it wasn't peak summer. I'll definitely check here first whenever I'm back in town.

Unique and perfect three night stay to extend a trip

We stayed at the Bird House 3 nights after a full week on Folly Beach to extend our trip and explore Charleston more. The rental was exactly as described and we loved the vibe of the outdoor tree lined, bird and nature “sanctuary”. Two teens, two adults and our dog stayed and we did utilize the back porch sleeping arrangement for our son. He liked having the space to himself at night and it was a cool area for all of us to hang out. As described, the porch is the living room for this rental and the unit consists of two queen size bedrooms with adequate space and a small but well equipped kitchenette and a nice bathroom (with an incredible shower we loved!). My daughter and myself took advantage of the owner’s massage business on site and both had a relaxing, stress reducing massage during our stay from Natalie. She communicated well and was very friendly. There was never a problem sharing this VRBO with the owner residence attached. It felt private. Clearly a lot of work and funds have been put into this unit to make it a unique but practical place to stay and have access to many Charleston areas in minutes. The fenced in area was nice for our dog to have room to move around worry free and not be leashed. We explored downtown Charleston and visited Sullivans Island during our stay. We already miss our morning coffee on the back patio as well!

A relaxing pet friendly getaway

Natalie was an amazing host and an outstanding massage therapist! The highlight of the trip was an early morning couples massage while a gentle rain fell on the tin roof of the outdoor screened in porch. Her place is centrally located, very pet friendly and easy driving distance to downtown Charleston and surrounding areas. Also very close to Folly Beach and Bowens Island. She was very responsive to our requests and even gave us a late checkout. Thank you Natalie for everything! When we come back to Charleston, we’d love to stay at your place again!

2nd honeymoon

Such a cute, romantic little property! My husband and I enjoyed the weekend here while visiting my daughter. We’ve been married 2 weeks today and visited the mountains after our wedding so this was a nice change of pace and scenery! We absolutely loved the screened in porch and hot tub! So relaxing and peaceful! The flowers and painted fence were so pretty as well. The property was well stocked and convenient to restaurants and activities. We didn’t bring our pet but it was very well equipped if we had chosen to. Will definitely recommend to others traveling to Charleston!

Homey, great for dogs, awesome trip!

My dogs absolutely loved the fenced in outdoor space! The rooms were homey and the interior was clean. The host responded promptly to texts and questions. There was a problem with the AC but the host contacted her HVAC company ASAP, got it fixed and gave us some money back. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay again!

Outstanding place to stay

One of the best short term rentals I’ve stayed in! Check-in couldn’t have been simpler, and the place itself is terrific. It was great for our two bulldogs - especially the screened-in porch area that stayed cool enough for them to hang out in all day. Lots of bugs but that’s just Charleston. Everything was clean and the space is very well-supplied. Would stay there again 100%.
