A relaxing stay at this beautiful home. A perfect place for our family during a very busy time - daughter’s wedding on John’s Island. We loved the rather hidden location - so peaceful but yet close to all we needed. Excellent!!

Perfect family stay.

awesome vacation

This property was an amazing place to use as our base while visiting Charleston. The house was great, the hosts were very responsive and helpful both before we got there as well as during our stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for someplace quiet to relax after your day at the beach, in downtown, at one of the plantations, etc. Not too far from any of the local attractions--25-35 minutes.We will definitely stay again when we go back to the area.

Peaceful marsh stay

This is a perfect location for quiet mornings and beautiful sunsets and still close to both Charleston and Folly Beach. Karen’s communication was excellent, and she has thought of everything to have the house fully stocked and comfortable. She answered questions before I knew to ask. This home might be the cleanest I have ever stayed in. There is room to spread out, and the living room on the second level has plenty of room to all be together. There is even a half bath off that living area. Karen’s guest house exceeded my expectations, and we would happily stay here again!

Wedding guest base

Great house and location for a Charleston area wedding. The house was super clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. Thoughtful interior and updated, modern design. The first floor bedroom and bath was a wonderful haven for us. The space upstairs and on the huge deck off the open kitchen/living room was great for family and friends who stopped by between wedding events. We love both Folly Beach and Johns Island so this location was perfect. Communication with the host could not have been better. Made a point of having it well lit at night when we arrived - so welcoming after a long day of travel and flight delays. The quiet, peaceful marsh views, especially the sunsets, were lovely and so relaxing.

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again soon. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfortable and the whole house was clean and comfortable. The house is situated in a beautiful area overlooking the marsh. Be sure to catch a sunset when you're there!

Girls Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay for our girls weekend getaway! The house was great with breath taking views from the porches. The showers in the house were our favorite because they feel like you are at a spa! The property and house was very clean and perfect for our group. The beds were also so comfy and the appliances were top notch. 10/10 would recommend this house for any vacation!

Awesome Stay!

This woderful home is set in a perfect location, allowing short trips to Charleston and Folly Beach. We were a group of 6 adults and had plenty of room to spread out and excellent areas to hang together as well. The marsh views were very cool and we caught a beautiful sunset followed by a morning rainbow! Check in and check out were very easy. All was as described and fhe owner was very accessible as needed. I highly recommend this property!

EXCELLENT PLACE

We totally LOVED our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and well equipped. We did have an issue with the hot water, and we got in very late, so we just took cold showers on the first night. They have a tankless water heater, so hot water should be endless. For some reason, the breaker tripped. It was fixed quickly and we instantly had hot water. They told us to contact them at any time with any issues, they did not care if it was the middle of the night. That was very kind and appreciated. We did lose hot water again later in our trip. Once again, he came right over and fixed the problem. Because we were inconvenienced with the lack of hot water twice, they sent me some money on Venmo and told us to have a nice meal on them. That certainly was not expected and it was a very pleasant surprise. Without a doubt, if we return to the area, we will stay here again. They really care and do what is necessary to make your stay the BEST. Note: if you can't carry your luggage up and down stairs, this place is not for you.

South Carolina Treasure

We loved our stay at this property, everything about it, inside and out is beautiful. There is plenty of space (and multiple levels) to stretch out and relax after a day of adventuring in Charleston or hanging on Folly Beach. We loved that it was just outside of Folly and not on the island proper. The marsh views at sunrise and sunset were beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with anything you would need and there are plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, fans etc. The owner is on top of sending you any info for check in and responds quickly to any questions. We travel with Vrbo frequently and this rental is 100% one of the best. Thanks Karen, for the wonderful stay!

A little slice of paradise

What a little gem! The house was beautiful —and checked all the boxes and more. Karen and Kent were awesome—and went above and beyond to make our 4th of July week exceptional! We had stayed on Folly in the past—but being on the marsh provided a tranquil, relaxing and sunsets that were UNFORGETTABLE! We loved having all the space, the oversized decks and the 3 floors worked out great for our group! Everything in the house was well stocked, the walking paths were awesome and the kids loved the kayaks! A perfect way to ring in July 2024 with some of our closest friends!
