    Inside, the suite offers a welcoming blend of modern amenities and classic Charleston character. Enjoy comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped space to relax and unwind, and plenty of room for your group to spread out.

    Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway, wedding, business trip, or a memorable vacation, The Cypress Suite provides the perfect home base for your Charleston stay.



    Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.



    Please Note: The Cypress Suite is a lower-level unit. Guests may hear occasional noise from the upper unit, and there may be steps or shared pathways associated with the building layout.



    Guest Access:

    Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.



    The Neighborhood:

    The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The culinary scene for which Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. The fantastic restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk.



    Getting Around:

    You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services: The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.     🚫 Pets are NOT Allowed:

    As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee.



    🚫 This is a 100% smoke-free property.

    Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.



    🧳 Luggage Drop-Off:

    We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service.



    🏙️ Noise Notice:

    Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

    ⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

    ⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.

    ⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

    ⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.



    🧑‍🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.

    Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.



    🏠 We do not control neighboring properties and cannot offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with external factors.



    🔌 We do not provide refunds for utility outages or service interruptions that are outside of our control.



    ❄️ Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and since many are older, severe cold snaps may affect both water temperature and indoor heating.



    🧹 If damage or excessive cleaning is required after checkout, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee equivalent to a full cleaning.



    🚗 Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for vehicles parked outside the designated parking areas.



    🚫 Please note that we will not make exceptions to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation.



    🌀 Hurricane Policy / Extenuating Circumstances:

    ⭐️ In the event that a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued for our county by the Governor of South Carolina during your stay, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.

    ⭐️ If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.

    ⭐️ We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially during hurricane season, for added peace of mind.

We were very happy with this condo. It's clean and newly renovated in a simple and modern style. It's located one block off the "main drag" but has a quiet neighborhood feel. I'd look for this one again if we return to Charleston.

I feel it’s important to share our experience so others know what to expect.This property matched the photos and its proximity to King St is great, but the noise situation is worse than the listing suggests. While it mentions general city noise, it does not disclose that a bar is directly adjacent to 2 of the bedrooms and noise continues well past 11pm despite the listing stating there is an ordinance from 11pm–5am. There are also dumpsters directly outside the primary bedroom, which resulted in loud rattling and bottle disposal noises late at night and again each morning at 7am. These disturbances were severe enough that we cut our stay short.Had this been clearly disclosed, we would have chosen another property, especially since we were traveling with children. We reached out to the host hoping for a reasonable resolution. At first, they seemed apologetic and responsive. They offered to move us to a different property for Sunday and Monday nights, but both options had issues that made them even less desirable. Compensation was also mentioned. We were told, "I can only approve a certain small amount on weekends as we don't have our leadership team during this weekend, and I don't want to risk offending you with how much I can do. Would you be happy if we touched base on the refund offer after your stay please?" Although initially promising, the only compensation offered is a refund for the unspent nights, with no compensation for the disrupted portion of the stay.
