Great Location and Stay

Great rental in a good part of town with lots of space for my family. Our family of 5 enjoyed this 5 bed room and bath rental. After staying in multiple hotels on our trip, this was a much needed spacious stop on our journey. Walking distance to many places. My wife is an episcopal priest and felt right at home in this converted parish hall.

Golf for the guys, shopping and sightseeing for the gals.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chapel Lofts. Everything was as pictured. We ate out every meal so I cannot comment on anything related to cooking. It was definitely a huge plus to not only have our own bedrooms, but en-suite bathrooms, as well! Even with 3 men showing around the same time, we did not run out of hot water. The beds are Very Soft - I say that only as a comment and not a complaint, as half of us loved the beds, and the other half not so much. The lofts are described as being “Steps to King Street” which is true, however the distance may be better described as being more than half a mile away! At least according to an Apple Watch! The blocks are loooong if you have people in your party who have difficulty walking. Take advantage of the Free Downtown Shuttle. It will save you the aggravation of trying to find a place to park. There is a Bus Stop just a few blocks from the Lofts that will take you to King Street. The hosts provided several small bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. If I may make a suggestion, a chest of drawers, or shelving in the closet in the smaller of the downstairs bedrooms would be very helpful, as there is no place to put your clothing. Overall, this was a great, very unique place to stay. It was just not close enough to town for our party of 70 year olds. While we would not stay here again, we would still recommend it to others.

Great stay for a Charleston Wedding

A great place to stay for a Charleston wedding. Safe, close to neighborhood coffee cafes and a short walk to downtown. Clean, with lots of bedrooms and baths. A nice outdoor courtyard to enjoy with friends and family. We love the fact that it served as a church! Everyone enjoyed their stay, and we all hope to return!

Great Space

We had a group of 9 friend celebrating 30 years of friendship. The space was great with enough beds and bathrooms. There are a good number of restaurants in a 5-10 minute walk. And if up for it the waterfront park is a 45 min walk through good areas. The off street parking was a plus.

Girls trip

We checked in and the place was lovely but filthy. Bathrooms were disgusting, sheets not changed, floors not vacuumed, old food left under the beds. Just gross. The management office sent cleaners back twice to clean and waived the cleaning fee, which was very nice. Location was too far from old town Charleston. Unfortunate, because the place was great for a weekend getaway. Beds comfy, nice having our own bathrooms, living space was great. But, can’t get past how dirty it was for what we paid. Not worth it. Won’t come back.

Perfect for families

The property was very spacious for our family of 9. Staying in a converted chapel was definitely unique. There was plenty of parking, which is a big plus. This is a place we will recommend to anyone planning a visit to Charleston.

Spacious Gathering Place

Beautiful Rental

The host thought of everything in this rental. We stayed 2 nights and were “wowed” by the design. This house is perfect for a stay in Charleston. I can’t think of anything missing as the host has absolutely everything in place or might need for a stay. Highly recommend!!! Communication was wonderful before we arrived and during! Thank you!!!
