Quiet and great outdoor space!

The cottage was all and even more than expected! The front yard was so enjoyable:) The cottage was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was provided along with beautiful white linens! If staying more than a night or two you’d need to get some more but you have enough to start. A drip coffee pot ( we bought coffee grounds) was provided. We’d stay at this cottage again!

Can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay! It was better than a hotel for so many reasons. In perfect condition, clean, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed, bathrooms were stocked with shampoos and soap (I was concerned since it wasn't a hotel ) Easy location - still needed to drive or Uber to town, but quick to get there. Courtyard was perfect for a small gathering and drinks outside. We came with family for our daughter's graduation but will surely be back for a vacation. Only reminder is to rent a small car - but that would be beneficial for all of Charleston! Thank you for a memorable stay - everyone raved about the cottage!

Wonderful Charleston

Very comfortable and quiet, plus the kitchen was certainly well equipped. We did not use the back porch sitting area during our visit as it was not very welcoming; the area was dirty with leaves and debris, and the furniture was also dirty.

Loved everything about this property

This was the perfect home for two couples. We each had our own king size beds and private bathrooms. The living room and kitchen area were very comfortable and inviting. The location was very quiet but a short walk to King Street for shopping and restaurants and a quick Uber ride down to all the activity on East Bay Street. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the property to any friends traveling to Charleston.

Great getaway

We travel with great friends each year for Super Bowl weekend. This year we chose Charleston. The Rainbow Cottage was perfect for both couples. The 2 king bedrooms are a necessity. The beds in the cottage were very comfortable and each bathroom was very clean. We loved the character of the decor and the modern kitchen was definitely a plus. The weather was beautiful during our stay and we enjoyed the deck in the back. The residential neighborhood was a plus with a local market and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Our only complaint was since the weather was so nice there was a party at the house next door and they played loud music on their porch until the early hours the evening of the Super Bowl. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Stay Duvet staff is easy to communicate with and attentive to the needs of their guests. We would recommend The Rainbow Cottage wholeheartedly.

Wonderful House in Charleston

We had a great stay and enjoyed the house very much. The listing did mention coffee was provided to get us started, but there was no coffee, and a box of tissues would be nice, but those are small things. Overall, a wonderful property.

Perfect trip

We had the best time at the cottage! The entire experience was so wonderful. The host is an excellent communicator. The house was perfect for myself and two kids. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

House was musty smelling upon entry. Sofa very soiled and uncomfortable, furniture dated worn. Cluttered decor with many many dusty fake plants in every room. Critters in the attic making noise at night overall not a great experience

Best kept secret

Loved the location. Ubered and took free city transportation. Beautifully decorated. Nice front sitting area and back porch. It had so much charm. It was spotless. I felt at home.

We had a fantastic stay! The property was exceptionally clean and quiet, making it easy to relax. The off-street parking was convenient and made coming and going stress-free. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and very user-friendly. I highly recommend this property!
