I travel to the Cape for business often. I've rented Delmar properties several times now. The place was perfect for both work and hosting my family. Highly recommend for other families on their Cape trips

This house requires work; it floods during light rain. Rain water fills the window well and then runs through the lower level bedroom window even though the window is closed and locked. There was a humidifier running in the lower level the entire time we were there and I thought the delaminated baseboard was a result of a one time situation but when it started to rain I realized that this was a recurring problem I realized that my brother's "cold" was probably a result of staying in the damp bedroom because it disappeared once he returned home. After he left I stayed in that room and began to feel like I was coming down with a cold. The property management staff came to address the water that covered the bedroom floor and soaked the rug in the adjoining room but the water seemed to have permeated the foundation. We could no longer use half the house, the lower level. Additionally, the musty scent we observed was likely due to mold. The house is in a great location and has a great layout but I wouldn't advise staying there until they fix the drainage problem and can ensure that it will stay dry and mold free.

Really was an ideal home for our vacation that included my husband and I, our 2 adult children and their 2 infants. Home was spacious and clean. Only issue was the WiFi availability which was initially unavailable. The management company did eventually fix the issue and were pleasant to deal with. It was only an issue because one of my kids had several virtual work meetings scheduled during the week. Otherwise we were comfortable in the house and very much enjoyed our week away.

Quick getaway

Family needed a quick getaway. This house filled the need. Close to everything. We had a small problem when arriving. The smoke detectors were randomly going off. Nobody’s fault just a glitch in tech. With one quick phone call the maintenance people were there and corrected the problem in less than an hour while we went down town for a walk. Great job! Being close to the kettle pond was nice. Would definitely recommend!

Great rental on Lover's lake

Our family had an enjoyable and relaxing time at this clean, modern amenities house, with a deck overlooking a peaceful and quiet lake, which we could walk down and swim in. The location was also a quick drive to multiple beaches and downtown Chatum and close to bike and hiking trails. We would definitely rent it again.

Very nice property, managers did a great job of communicating. I wish the checkout was later but I understand they need to get ready for the next group. Overall a great house for families.

Needs a deep clean

The cleanliness of the property would deter me from ever staying there again. Mold and debris all over the deck and porch, yard debris, dirt and bugs in the interior of all the doors, countless things broken throughout the house. There were other guests clothing still hanging in the closet, stains on the bedding, and the mustiness and likely allergens etc within the home caused several members of our party, including infants, to have flares of asthma and other respiratory issues. The location and scenery aren't a sufficient enough bonus to overcome the profound need for the entire property to be deep cleaned. Given the cost, the fact that a property management company is involved, and that check in was 4 and check out 9 am, there should be amble opportunity to create the haven that is advertised.

60th Birthday for Hubby

This was the perfect house for my husband and myself with adult children and spouses. We had our own space when necessary or to gather in family room, deck, living room or outside. I would definitely rent here again!!

Wonderful Waterfront Property on Private Lake

Great vacation home for the family, beautiful views of the lake with lake access! Great back yard and porch, the home is packed with lot's of charm. Also, within minutes from dinning and beach! We will be back...

Perfect vacation

My husband and I took our kids (8 & 10) to this beautiful lake house. It was amazing! The house was perfect, spacious and in an amazing location. In the morning I drank my coffee down by the lake while the kiddos played with the little fish that come up to greet you. The lake was perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing! We rented kayaks (from the place that was recommended by the host). They delivered them for the week to the home and we had such a blast! We could not have asked for a better time, home and we will most definitely not only try to get the same house but if not, we would stick with rentals through Del Mar. The property managers were communicative and responsive. I thought I had an issue with the washer/dryer but turned out to be the operator (me) and not the machine :) Can’t wait to get back to the cape!

Good stay in Chatham

The house was pretty clean (although many dust bunnies and crumbs when furniture was moved) and the lake was really perfect for kayaking. Easy and quick to get to beaches and downtown via car. Also the kids loved being close to the airport. The dishwasher is not anchored in, so the door kept opening toward the end of every cycle, so that wasn’t great. The grill was pretty nasty BUT I did let Del Mar know and they sent someone to clean it, and provided brand new grates and tools to use, the next day. That was very good service and we were very happy with it.

Really enjoyed our stay. 4 adults and 1 10yr. old. lots of room and a beautiful setting.

Loved the house and property. Can tell it is new and some things need to be tweaked. Always with a remodel. Tried to rent for the summer a couple of weeks and nothing available unfortunately. Maybe we will get lucky to rent agin.Good luck to you
