“We stayed an entire week in the bankers loft while in the area for the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals at Explore Park. The location was perfect for accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway. The loft was exactly as advertised, very clean and well-stocked. Host was helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.”

“Clean and very nice apartment!”

“clean, modern space that is quiet to be on a busy street”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished. We had everything we needed! It is in a great location and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Highly recommended !(Just an FYI - parking is across the street and we did not see an elevator. Maybe we missed it? This was no problem for us, but might be an issue for those with mobility issues.)”

“My senior citizen parents and I had a wonderful stay at Susana and Sean's lovely apartment in Floyd! The location was very convenient to downtown Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their walk out basement apartment home is situated on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and as pictured. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable. Any items you would need if you forget them were provided, such as chargers, umbrellas, flashlight, etc. We cooked most of our meals -- the kitchen is...

“I liked that the property was right in town. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. Was very clean and modern looking. I stayed in the downstairs unit because I had my dog with me and that was the only unit I could choose. I felt like I was in the basement. Was very dark and musty smelling. They had a dehumidifier going but was very noisy and some other machine going in the washer dryer closet. Also no TV in the bedroom. I went to make coffee and opened the lid and a spring and piece fell off so...

“The cute tiny house has everything we needed and provided a relaxing getaway atmosphere. Star gazing and watching the wildlife were highlights. The close proximity to Floyd makes it convenient to go into town. Highly recommend checking out Five-Mile Mountain Distillery for incredible moonshine cocktails. Cheers and relax!”

“Very clean property conveniently located downtown. Very unique building and beautifully decorated. More like an apt than a room. If you are in the area it’s a great choice. Limited food options in town but great breakfast place around the corner of the building.”

“Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!”

“We loved our stay here. We were traveling to Maryland and stopped here for an overnight. Communication with the host was easy and we certainly had plenty of space to spread out. Really, the only downside is that it's maybe 15-20 minutes off the highway, so a little bit out of the way, but we felt safe in the neighborhood and there is a designated parking spot for visitors. The bed was comfortable, you can use the washer and dryer if you need, there is a mini fridge for holding things...

“My husband and son stayed while at orientation for Virginia Tech and the entire trip was great from start to finish . The host was so easy to get ahold of and the place was wonderful! We will 100% be staying here again!!”
