This cabin is outstanding!!! Everything about it is perfect for your getaway, including the large front porch overlooking the river and beautiful views of the mountains, along with a fire pit. The inside of the cabin is gorgeous and modern and decorated so beautifully!! We loved having the gas logs when the weather turned cold and snowed and there is also a washer and dryer. We met the sweet owner’s upon our arrival and could reach out to them with any issues, but had none. We had a wonderful time relaxing here and it will definitely not be our only stay, we're already looking forward to visiting again.

This cabin was everything you need to feel home away from home. The views are amazing of the river and mountains! The cabin is super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the peaceful fire pit and walks to the river. Jack and Christy are amazing hosts and very accommodating. It was so nice to meet them both. Our hopes are in coming back here soon!

If you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway this is the place! The cabin is very nice and clean. The mountain view is spectacular with the river running along the property. Great hosts. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed inside, the location was perfect for visiting Asheville. The hosts even left us fresh baked goods from a local orchard. Would highly recommend staying at this cabin

Beautiful, private and scenic cabin overlooking the cows and large river. Great for a nice weekend romantic getaway! When we arrived at the cabin, the hosts welcomed us with a selection of Apple pastries from their favorite local Apple orchard.

We had an amazing stay at the Cedar Cliff Cabin. Our host communicated with us clearly and the cabin is just amazing. The interior is five star. We enjoyed a walk to the river and the firepit as well. We would highly recommend for anyone lucking for a truly relaxing time away.

Beautiful cabin in great location, close to downtown Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska. Very relaxing week in the NC mountains. Ours hosts were wonderful and gave us delicious baked goods from an area business. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a great place for a peaceful stay. It is quiet and private, but only a short drive to I 40 and a 30 minutes drive to Asheville. There so much to do in the area, but the cabin is nice enough you don't want to leave.

This is a great cabin to come and enjoy your person. Chose this spot for our 10 year anniversary and we were not disappointed. The view, the river, the cabin were all as advertised. Jack and Christie were very accommodating and available. He even gave me a couple of his own fishing baits to try and catch a few fish in the river. We certainly will try to come back and possibly stay at one of his three other cabins on the property

The property is very clean and has plenty of space to spread out - we had hiking gear etc.. There is plenty of space on the patio to hang out also - lounge chairs and a nice dining table. The owners are on the same piece of land and couldn’t be more responsive and kind. The house is really a work of art for woodworkers. Just gorgeous flooring and walls etc. the house sits high up from the river so not direct access, but easy enough to drive one minute to be on the river. Easy access to Waynesville and Sylva and any hiking you can ever want to do. Great produce just north of the property.

Best vacation ever!

We have stayed at many different VRBO’s. This one was the best by far. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and spotless!! It has everything you will need. It was convenient to downtown Waynesville and Maggievalley however we spent most of our time at the cabin.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat with a Personal Touch

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The cabin was the perfect couple’s getaway — private, peaceful, and beautifully decorated with tasteful modern upgrades. The mountain views from the porch were stunning and made for a truly relaxing experience. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love and care into the space. They even stopped by to personally welcome us — a rare gesture these days. While unexpected, it was clear it came from a place of genuine hospitality. If you're looking for a cozy retreat in nature that’s still close to downtown, this is the perfect spot!
