This is a great little cabin, and we enjoyed our stay over the Christmas break. We especially enjoyed the master bedroom and hot tub. The beds and couches were comfortable, the hot tub was well maintained, and the grill was a nice bonus! We spend a week in a cabin in the mountains every year, so we're probably a little more picky than most, but there are a few things that kept it from being a five star cabin for us. Things weren't as stocked as we would have hoped. The day we arrived we went ahead and bought hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, because it was clearly not stocked for our week stay. Also, I feel like the number and quality of towels needs improvement. Our family of 5 struggled to have enough towels for showers and the hot tub. A crock pot/slow cooker of some kind would be nice as well. All of the beds were a bit wobbly as well. The bunk beds were a bit unstable as the kids climbed on the top bunk and the queen bed rattled against the wall a bit, but the biggest issue is that the master bed is pressed against the light switch and makes a loud squeak if anyone moves on the bed. It was a challenge to maintain discretion at times. I ended up wedging a washcloth between the bed post and the wall on both the master bed and the queen bed, and now I'm wondering if I removed those before we left. Hmm...I feel like all of these are very small issues that could be easily resolved. In any event, they didn't prevent us from having a wonderful vacation!
