Family getaway to Lake Junaluska

  • Attractive, quiet, fully furnished mountain house on the grounds of the Lake Junaluska Conference Center. Large deck in the trees; mountain view from the front porch. Equipped with a smart TV (with free access to the Spectrum TV channels), DVD player, free Wi-fi, washer/dryer/laundry supplies, dishwasher, wood-burning fireplace, central heating/cooling, and ceiling fans in every room. Linens and towels available upon request; fee varies depending on amount of laundry left for the housekeeper. Within walking distance of the pool, playground, Rose Walk, trail around the lake, and other activities. Five-minute drive to Waynesville or Maggie Valley, 15-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 25-minute drive to Asheville, and many hiking opportunities nearby. Well-behaved dogs welcome (maximum of 2).

Nice stay

The house is well appointed (with everything you need for a home away from home) and close to the lake. The beds are super comfortable, and the owner was great to work with. If you are planning a trip to the area, this is a comfy and nice place to stay.

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our stay so much - the weather was a great break from the heat and humidity in Florida. The house is comfortable and convenient to all Lake J has to offer; downtown Waynesville is less than 15 minutes away.

Family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Junaluska. The home was cozy, clean, and well appointed. Beds and furniture were comfortable. We had a great stay and would stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great spot at Lake Junaluska

Very comfy and roomy spot to enjoy Lake Junaluska, Waynesville, with easy access to Great Smokey Mountains NP. Plenty of room for our group of 8. House well equipped and host very responsive.

Beautiful place

The house was perfect for our group. We had a 90 yo couple with us and the access to the house & two master suites on the ground level was great. The feel of the house was warm & welcoming- there were even some hydrangeas in a vase from the bush on the kitchen counter (my favorite flowers) Would definitely recommend this house & look forward to another visit

Quiet getaway

Wonderful home- great layout for teens and our toddler. Beautiful setting, friendly neighbors, cooking essentials were all there and plenty of seating to eating and visiting. Very responsive host!

Extremely pleased

The house was lovely with large, clean, comfortable rooms. Furniture was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and in a good location for our purposes. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

This is a great location and stay if you're traveling to Lake Junaluska or surrounding area. The owner is a text or email away with any needs or questions, making sure her guests are taken care of. I can't say enough good things about this clean and spacious property.

Great for stay to visit local sites

This was one of the best maintained places we have used. the owner was fantastic and very responsive. Great documentation, and information was spot on! It was a guys golf outing and we found good restaurants close by and some great golf!

Wedding weekend

We were all there for my oldest son’s wedding The house and location is beautiful. Owner was very helpful. Will be returning when not such a rush. But thank you for the use of your beautiful home. We had great time.

Great space for family visit

This house was perfect for our family. We were in town for a wedding and we enjoyed cooking meals and sitting together in the main room and on the deck to visit. I didn’t remember the note about no towels and lines when I made the reservation, but Kathy sent a reminder and when I had a question about it, the reply came within minutes. Would absolutely recommend this property.
