“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay cottage was beautiful and cosy had everything we needed . We had a week away me husband 2 children and small dog . Lots of lovely dog walks close to shops restaurants and close enough to go into Chester for days out . Thank you for our Prosecco and biscuits we loved our stay and will love to stay again in the future highly recommend.hosts were very helpful we had a lovely time . ”

“Very good location for 6-10 mile hikes with wonderfully far reaching views on a clear day,The house was fine however would benefit from having more mugs and glasses, also its own heating controls. Very helpful owners live in one end of the building ”

“We booked this property for a family of 12 as it was close to a family wedding at Chester zoo. The property offers everything, it's spacious, clean and even has a games room to keep the kids entertained. The rooms were good sizes with bathrooms of each of the 3 floors. We also visited blue planet aquarium and Cheshire oaks which were only 20 minutes drive and tried out the local pubs which were good and had an Indian at indivala which was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property.”

“Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. ”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay , we had good communication with the owners and the cottage was very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem and it is in a quiet area but very handy for Chester which is a lovey town .The hot tub was great and was used every day . ”

“We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. “The chalet was perfect for us very clean. Everything you could possibly need. The location was absolutely beautiful so quiet and the nature around us was fantastic. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again in the future.”

“For a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles away”
