“We were in the annex but did not enjoy this area the room is very basic and the heating did not work we have had better appointed rooms in less expensive hotels .the front of the hotel is in good decorative order but if you have a walk round the castle there are areas which are in a poor state of repair,when we walked around the grounds we were disappointed to note a lot of dog poo had just been left lying about this is something the care taker should be aware off . “This hotel is in desperate need for refurbishment. The fixtures and furniture is dated and the building itself is so old that you. It think it’s a hotel. The room I got given had a non functional AC. The telephone connection in the room was non functional too. There was no water bottle in the room. You have to buy it!!! The hotel staff had left the room windows, I suppose because the AC wasn’t working. I would not recommend this to anyone.”

“I have to say that the hotel met absolutely my expectations. The room was comfortable, nice and clean. Furthermore the hotel staff was really nice and friendly. The only negative aspect was the cleaning of the toilet once we were staying in the room. For instance, in 4 nights we had the same towels although, I imagine that they would have solved the problem inmediately if I had notified it. In general, everything was quite good. I strongly recommend it.”

“Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.”
