First stay in Chincoteague
When we arrived, check in was easy, home had plenty of space and it was clean.The neighbors were friendly, area is quiet.The air conditioning unfortunately went out the day before we were scheduled to check out. I called the main line, it was after hours so she had another representative call me back. A service man from the company came out and after installing a new thermostat said that it still wasn’t talking to the unit to kick on. He stated that he wasn’t certified to fix Bosch systems and sent a HVAC tech. The tech was unable to fix it; needed a new board.Anyway after I worked dealing with these issues all afternoon I called back, they called the other rep to contact me(this is each time you call vs. getting a direct number). I was told that they would be moving us and sorry about what happened. I received the address and we packed ip and headed to the other property. Upon arrival, I received a email requesting 500 for the night(mind you this property is much less quality than where we rented). I called the main line, someone called back and said yes it would in fact me 500. Needless to say we declined and headed home. AC issues happen-that is not my concern. It is the lack of communication. The representative said THEY were moving us-that sounds like an alternative? They have refunded our last night there since returning home, but we also lost time there that I spent playing property mgr speaking with technicians vs. enjoying our time.we have
