“A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station. ”

The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. “Stayed in the little huts at the top of the hill. Really well kitted out. Underfloor heating so the cabin warmed up fast. Would be good if you had dogs because you can just let them straight out. Evening meal was really nice. Could have eaten everything off the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Didn't use the gym but it has enough for you do do a work out and get a sweat on. Would stay here again. ”

“A lovely quirky hotel close to Hertfordshire University. Many food places close by however, the onsite restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were generous sized and well equipped for our stay. We would definitely return. ”
