The house was very well equiped, plenty of storage and comfortable beds and the outside deck beside the lake was a real bonus. The lake setting is so beautiful and the house itself was comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved spending time in the hot tub, relaxing in the huge kitchen and playing games in the living room, and there are lots of lovely walks from the house to places to eat around the local lakes. “We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog.
