“First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. “Visited for a 2 night stay visiting family. Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Reception all friendly and helpful. Bar staff very very good. Housekeeping that i bumped into also friendly and polite Didn't actually eat in the restaurant but did have a couple of pints both nights, with some chips, and a choccy brownie with icecream the 2 night. Both delicious. Went as a solo female traveller with mobility issues and felt safe and secure at all times Plan to def stay again in the future ”

“Nice and comfy room. Friendly and helpful staff. I also liked that you can easily get a snack or drink at reception at any time. I would only suggest to add something else to the complimentary breakfast, some more food options but I can’t complain.”
