“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. “A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch. Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now).”

“The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. Swimming pool and facilities surrounding it were clean but dated but we had a good time”
