“This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The cabin was very clean with furnishing, decor, and amenities that were all well thought out. From the unique nature themed wall hangings to the abundance of hooks for coats and towels, everything about this place feels cozy and inviting. The location is perfect, being about 10 minutes from Carbondale and less than 10 minutes to Giant City State Park. “Went to a SEMO football game and this is an ideal place to stay for that activity. Able to tailgate then pop in to refresh drinks etc. I am calling this place the 3C place. It is cute, convenient and oh so comfortable. Beds and chairs are all comfy and you have plenty of room. Like the other reviews say it is clean and the owners communicate very well. There is a staircase to go up that can be daunting at first. But take your time and it gets easier. Would book again if the home games were open....

“We stayed a week at this lovely home and had a great time. It was so clean, and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The area is filled with fun things to do. Plenty of nature hikes at Ferne Clyffe State park, and the Garden of the Gods is worth the short drive. The lake was calm and we enjoyed several kayak trips. We look forward to coming back!
