Pramash and the rest of the staff went ABOVE and beyond not only to make our stay comfortable but to ensure our travels further on from Colombo was smooth. He called the train station and checked which train we needed to be on for when, called local hospitals about whether we could book a PCR back in Colombo in a months time. Excellent and kind people and an all round lovely hotel!

Clean and good service with delicious breakfast
Clean and comfortable room with all the amenities you could need (towels, toiletries etc). Pool lovely but breakfast was superb. Hotel a little out of the way from what seemed to be the main part of Colombo but was very close to the better bit of beach

I only stayed here one night but found the room super comfortable and clean. Traffic noise from the street was quite loud. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great hotel at a great price
We had a great time at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, the beds were comfy, the staff were helpful. There are shops all around which you can either walk or catch a tuk tuk, all in all it was a great spot.

DO NOT RECOMMEND-Worst hotel experience in Colombo
I had the worst stay in Colombo with ME Colombo. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Money is their main priority and customer service is always second. The lady in the reception had an attitude as well. Bad odor was coming from the bathroom and Had to keep the door closed at all times. The rooms are not spacious as well. I recommend THE OCEAN COLOMBO for a better stay in Colombo. The rooms are so spacious and They have the best view of the ocean as well.

Great for a short stay in the heart of Colombo. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool and delicious breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone

Liked the design, good breakfast, did not like that they closed the rooftop pool to hotel guest two nights in a row to host private parties. We had no where to go except our room. When you have been touring all day and you want to enjoy the amenities as a paying guest, this is unacceptable.

Hidden Gem
We had a fantastic time at ME Colombo during a one week stay in Sri Lanka. What I love most about this place is the rooftop pool area. It was a great place to hangout and go for a refreshing dip. The views are great and the staff is top notch. They are very attentive and friendly. The rooftop bar however does not sell alcohol (they do not have a license for that) but you are welcome to bring your own at no charge. They have a food menu that you can order from. Shisha is also available. The rooms are comfy and very clean. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and a good value for money.

Fantastisches Frühstück, sehr schöner Pool, guter Service. Wir hätten 5 Sterne vergeben, wenn es nicht sehr laut im Zimmer gewesen wäre. Der Straßenlärm hat leider ziemlich gestört, aber das Hotel hat gemeint, sie bauen gerade an zusätzlichem Lärmschutz. Ansonsten top.

For 2 night stop over in Colombo we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. Chosen due to its incredibly low price but had everything we needed and more. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean hotel. A bit out of the way from Colombo centre but only about £4 in a Tuk Tuk.

The hotel, rooms and staff are nice but it’s very noise. The hotel is on a busy road and the windows aren’t double glazed so you hear the busy Colombo traffic all too clearly. Also, one of the nights was especially loud as there was some event on at a near by temple and there was chanting, through a megaphone until 5am!!!!

Excellent boutique hotel in Colombo. Just an important suggestion to hotel management, try to add a full sunblock (pitch black) type curtain so that the sun is kept out in the morning. Currently the sun really shines into the room in the morning and it's way too bright, therefore making it difficult to sleep in late if the guest wants to.

Very comfy bed and nice views. This new smaller boutique is clean and still (as of this writing) in its pre-opening phase. The rooftop bar is not quite yet open for alcohol, but staff is very kind and checks up on you for all other beverages or food.
