Retiro pacífico orientado a la familia

¡Bienvenido al retiro Calor Nest en Manitou Springs! Nuestro vecindario está ubicado en las colinas con hermosas vistas que lo rodean. Una estancia en nuestro acogedor lugar será el espacio perfecto para descansar después de explorar el centro de Manitou, escalar la pendiente de Manitou, caminar por el Jardín de los Dioses o caminar por la ciudad de Old Colorado. Pikes Peak está justo enfrente y Red Rock Canyon Open Space tiene muchos senderos hermosos a los que se puede acceder desde nuestro vecindario.

Hemos convertido nuestro sótano en una hermosa unidad de 3 dormitorios / 1 baño que incluye una cocina / lavandería con amplias actualizaciones para una sensación fresca y cómoda. Tendrá una entrada privada a través de la puerta del patio de salida. ¡Vivimos arriba con nuestra nueva incorporación, nuestra niña! También tenemos un perro mayor, Chai, y acabamos de recibir a un cachorro, Nala, a quien le encanta conocer gente nueva.

Si bien el interior se ha actualizado ampliamente, el exterior sigue siendo un trabajo en progreso. ¡Tenga paciencia con nosotros mientras lo ponemos a la altura del espacio interior! Hemos valorado nuestro lugar en consecuencia, ya que recientemente comenzamos a alojar.
Además, agradeceríamos cualquier comentario que pueda tener sobre cómo podemos mejorar nuestro espacio.

Está absolutamente prohibido fumar en nuestra propiedad dentro y fuera. Si fuma en nuestra propiedad, se le pedirá que se vaya. Easy to get in, BEAUTIFUL backyard view, super thoughtful amenities such as coffee beans and drip machine, sound machines, and an essential oil diffuser. Clean. There are three bedrooms, one with a bunk bed (the designated kid room). My fiancé and I got placed in that room since our moms took the other two bedrooms. In the future, if coming with 3 adults, would recommend doubling up in the single bedrooms. The kids room bed is not as comfy as the other two (which makes sense for kids!). Otherwise, would be perfect for a couple(s) and their kids with that set up!

It was a great stay, it was clean and nicely updated. We liked that there were toys in the living room, our kids enjoyed playing with new toys they don't have. It was close to downtown Manitou, which was convenient!

Family fun!

Wonderful stay, will return

This is an extremely nice three-bedroom walkout basement property. The exterior grounds are very much a work in progress, so don't let that throw you when you arrive. The kitchen was excellently organized and easy to use. The bathroom was small, but workable. The unit was very clean. The entrance was in the back, down some steps, and with a mulch path. Luggage is carried, not rolled, to the door. If we are in the area and need lodging, we will definitely stay here again. The host was extremely nice. If you see a dog by the door, don't worry. He is calm, extremely friendly, and will wait for a rub if you choose to give him one.

Modern, Clean, and Convenient

Modern remodeled basement unit. Listing was accurate, owners were very friendly and helpful, great young family. Location is super convenient to many local attractions and downtown Manitou. We had plenty of room and all the normal amenities and things you would expect, especially in the kitchen/bathroom. Very clean and fresh upon arrival, we had a great time here. 1 Con: The owners live above, there is a lot of noise from upstairs. It's just normal family activity, but be aware some days may be worse than others, however it did not go late and we were able to sleep with no worries.

Not what I thought

The price was not worth the stay. Had to walk around the house to get in,no front door, steps not explained older people could not make it in, owners live above and are very loud night and day. Just disappointed for the cost.

Clean & Great Location

Our stay at the Calor Nest was wonderful. The host family was very nice and gave us good suggestions on what to see. The rental is in a walkout basement of their home and was extremely clean, with a homey feel and a nice amount of natural light. Their dog was very sweet and would hang out on the patio by the door. Being able to see Garden of the Gods from their patio with a cup of coffee was very relaxing.

Charming place

We enjoyed our stay at the Calor Nest. Communication with the hosts was great. Check in couldn’t have been easier. We had everything we needed and some extras. We thoroughly enjoyed their sweet pup Nala. She snuggled with me as I read a book in the back yard. Would stay here again and bring our kids.

Nice, but hot and not very peaceful

Excellent location. Beautiful lot. Nala the dog is an absolute doll!! Wonderful family of 5 that owns it and lives upstairs. The unit is esthetically well done. We had everything we needed. A couple big downsides though. There was very uneven climate control. One floor a/c unit in the livingroom area and fans in bedrooms. The bedrooms were very hot (Aug). I slept on the couch and put every fan we could find in my sons room. Also, I would not recommend this for people who want to rest, it is very noisy, especially early in the morning. I understand it is the owners house, I just think renters should be made aware that it is going to be very noisy and not necessarily "peaceful".

5 Gals from Wisconsin loved the Peaceful Family Oriented Retreat

We stayed from Aug. 2nd - 5th, 2024. As one of the Gals stated in the coffee table book, "We could not have stayed at a better place." We were all so impressed with many things including the cozy house, lovely touches of comfort, loved the family and their dog, who live upstairs, the views are awesome, close to many attractions and we all agreed we would stay there again if in the Manitou Springs area. :)

Great place to unwind for a family

Great location, and it's just like staying at home. Family of four will not be disappointed. If you like to come back to a quiet neighborhood to decompress after a day of hiking and shopping, this is your location. Host family was great as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our bonus time with Nala, greeting us with a tail wag and nose bump whenever we came back.

Great Location and Wonderful Hosts

We have a wonderful stay, and this downstairs property was perfect for our family of five. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The family who lives upstairs is so kind and helpful, and my kids loved playing with their kids and dog. We loved that there were hiking trails so close, and it was super convenient to downtown Manitou Springs and the Garden of the Gods!

Great property and location!

Came to Manitou Springs for a quick weekend getaway with my dad and brother. Property was in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and a short drive to Old Colorado City. Check-in was a breeze and the property was perfect for us. Thoughtful amenities and very clean. Would highly recommend this property!

Will stay again!

We very much enjoyed staying at Caleb and Taylor's property. The location was extremely convenient for accessing downtown Manitou, the Cliff Dwellings and Pikes Peak. It is obvious that they want to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests, as the house is well stocked, clean and welcoming. They were immediately available for any questions we had. Will stay here again!
