“Location is great. However there were a couple issues with the property. The shower didn't drain and filled up with dirty water very quickly. You could see some dirty fluids backfilling the tub once water entered the drain. It was bad enough that we didn't shower. Host said they would send someone over first thing in the morning to clear the drain and never sent anyone. The cleaning fee we had to pay was excessive, especially given the shower. I doubt they clean the shower regularly as it was...

“Very happy with our accommodations, the place was super clean, everything that we needed (or might need) was provided, and it was a very comfortable place to stay. It's reasonably close to downtown, easy walking distance to the George St. area.All in all, we would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in St. John's.”

“Love the location. Place was clean and had plenty of wash cloths and towels. Kitchen was well furnished. My only complaint it that is got a little warm and the only way to run the A/C was to leave the window unlock, we were not comfortable doing this at night and when we were not there. Ceiling fans or a few box fans would hVe been helpful. Overall a nice stay and easy walk to Quidi Vidi Harbour. ”

“The house is in nice location. Had issues with the door lock but the owner quickly replaced it when we advised. The house is very clean and has quality bedding and towels. The supplies in kitchen are minimal and no instructions on how to use the RokuTV, which was a challenge. Also not aware that tenants also occupied a portion of the basement, which was not expecting. Overall it is a nice house.”

“Lovely large property with quiet outside deck area, comfy bed, excellent communication from Alex, the host, laundry facilities more than adequate for a large family (biggest machines outside of a commercial laundry that I've seen!). One suggestion would be to have a set of smaller plates (side plates) rather than just the very large plates. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.”

“Location was great for us, 5 min walk to the Mary Brown centre that was hosting the Brier, close proximity to downtown and the harbour.The accommodations were just as advertised, clean and cozy, with a well stocked kitchen that provided everything required.The host Catherine was responsive to all are enquiries in a timely fashion and was wonderful to deal with.All in all a wonderful location for anyone looking to enjoy what St Johns NFLD has to offer.”

“The location is very convenient, close to downtown, close to a grocey store (Sobey 2 min drive) and a nice cafe (Postmaster cafe, 4 min drive). The host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much.”
