“We had a great stay in the cottage. My family of 4 were in the area for a wedding and wanted to be closer to the venue and away from the lights and sounds of hotels and highways. This was such a great alternative. It was convenient to get to and in a nice quiet area. The cottage was very clean, comfy beds, and we loved that our kids had their own space and beds. We spoke to the homeowner briefly and they were very kind and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!”

“We didn’t stay at calypso we were at Desert Eden. Property was clean inside but needs major update and repair on outside. Lounge cushions on both the pool loungers were dirty and torn as they were on couch lounger at fireplace sitting. Umbrellas were very dirty and didn’t have proper stands. ”

“Perfect spot for couples. Owner couldn't be nicer and is on-site in another house but separated so you have your privacy. Listing is accurate. Perfect size for two people. Great ambiance inside and out. Location is good as well on De Portola Rd which has the more casual, family-owned wineries. Loved our stay, highly recommended!”

“The space and surrounding landscape was peaceful and very pleasant. We enjoyed a 2 night stay and the hosts were very resoponsive to our request. The unit needed a few extra amenities which were quickly remedied. Overall the stay was lovely and we would stay there again for sure! I would say the only possible downside might be the unpaved bumpy entrance road and the vibrant critters that lived in the surrounding hillsides. But this was not a problem for us.
