“Screebe House is a beautifully peaceful getaway. We had a gorgeous view of the water. At night looking across the water was very little light. It was so peaceful. The food was very good with great portion size. Breakfast was included with a small buffet plus a made to order hot option. Dinner was a 2 or 3 course choice. “This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

“Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!”
