“My husband, our two dogs, and I got away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago to enjoy our time in the woods. The cabin was perfect for our family and was just the right size. Never felt too crowded. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The cabin was just isolated enough that we let our dogs run around off leash and enjoy. My only complaint is the size of the bed was a bit small and firm. Nancy was great to communicate with and very responsive....

Only issues were minor, some silverware had to be rewashed, personal communication was non-existant leaving it unclear how to ask questions for like finding extra blankets...which we never found. That said, we loved the place overall and would recommend to friends and family.”

“Stayed at this amazing updated lakefront cottage with my sister and niece for the Frankfort 70.3 Ironman race. Location could not be better. Cottage is updated and pictures are accurate. “We stayed the week of July 15-22 and loved this property. We had 6 adults and our 2 granddaughters, ages 22 months and 15 months. The gigantic yard was perfect for the grandkids, and we had a pontoon and small fishing boat along, so we appreciated the dock. The house itself was very clean with an open floorplan, and stocked with coffee, dishwasher and laundry soaps, a high chair and pack n play, and many other necessities. “The paddle boards and canoes on the lake made the trip really fun for teenagers. Right on a nice lake so it’s shallow enough to explore and also swim out deeper and much warmer than Lake Michigan which is close enough to drive back and forth from easily.”

“Ray's cottage is an awesome traditional cottage. Cottage is clean and very well maintained. The stone fireplace and deck views were amazing. Cottage sits on a very nice large wood lot. Loved listening to the Loons in morning and evening. Excellent fishing lake, caught several good size large mouth bass and a few smallies. Great location and area to see all the local beautiful beaches, lakes and towns. I definitely recommend and want to return soon. Great place Ray!”

“House was very beautiful! The scenery and view from the backyard was amazing. House came stacked with supplies that made less trips to the store. Firewood was supplied and made for amazing bonfires at night. Propane tank was empty, I contacted management. They replied within minutes. We went to store to replace and reimbursed me almost immediately. One of the best VRBO experiences I have encountered overall with a property. Definitely would stay here again. 10 out of 10 must stay properties!”
