Loved our stay! House is very well stocked with dishes, paper goods, complimentary coffee and sweeteners. Cleanliness of the home deserves a mention. Stayed in many VRBOS AND THIS WAS AMONG THE BEST! Beautiful location and peaceful!

Love this place! The area is very quiet and on a ranch with rustic surroundings. Hiking, wine tasting, and wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant. House is super nice! Top notch, all good, check it out!

Peaceful stay

Beautiful location and house. Access to the entire ranch and the hills around made the stay very peaceful. Able to walk to the nearby creek and wineries.

Such an amazing stay!

The house is huge, a little dated but beautiful!! Loved that the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the house. The wildlife was beautiful, we even saw a small javelina! Perfect location for us!

Amazing!

This house was beautiful! Updated, clean and they provide a lot of extras (games, spices, laundry detergent and coffee). We loved the porch with the view of the horses. Location was perfect, close to Sedona and other towns but away from the hustle and bustle so you can unwind and relax. Communication with host was very easy. The Property was amazing!

Perfect getaway for families

We had such a great visit to the Ranch! We had no issues with communication or anything at the house. It was perfect for two couples and three kids on a family getaway from Phoenix. We love page springs and cottonwood, so it was a great location to visit our favorite places but also just hang back at the ranch to relax and cook a meal and rest. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Wonderful!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this home and the property manager, Garrett. The home is so comfortable and clean and the views and wildlife from the front and back patio are absolutely breathtaking. A quick stroll down the drive you find yourself on the Black Hawk Trail enjoying the shade of tall cottonwood trees, the wildlife the game and fish hatcheries attract and the beauty of the Oak Creek greenbelt all around. And the location cannot be beat. Just around the corner are delicious restaurants and wineries or a short 15 minute drive you will find yourself in Cottonwood, Cornville or Sedona. We used the home as a base camp to explore Cottonwood and Jerome and are already planning to return to explore the Oak Creek, the wineries and Sedona. I highly recommend this beautiful home and location.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on a working ranch. The property is clean, modern, and elegant, with all the amenities you could need. The surroundings are lush, green, and peaceful — a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Everything was well cared for and thoughtfully designed. The only small feedback I have is that the standard check-in (4 PM) and check-out (10 AM) times are a bit tight. There is, however, an option to request an earlier check-in or later check-out — we just didn’t take advantage of it. Overall, a lovely and comfortable stay that we would happily recommend!

Our stay at Horse Feathers Ranch was outstanding! The ranch is located about 20 mins away from Sedona which for us was perfect. It's close enough to drive to Sedona and not feel like a long drive and far away enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of Sedona. Since the house was away from the city; this also made for great star gazing on the deck. We had planned on a separate star gazing tour but ultimately just went out to the deck and laid out on the lounge chairs and stared up at the night sky. This house is spacious and is perfect for those folks that want something that feels a little rustic but has all the modern convivences of a city house. The house doesn't lack any amenities; in fact, it had everything we need and more. The coffee beans and coffee grinder was a really nice touch. There were plenty of towels, and toiletries and the kitchen had plenty of paper towels and trash bags as well as Ziploc bags. The host also included detergent pods for laundry as well. It was truly very well stocked. Needless to say, we will be coming back as there is so much to do in Sedona. I highly recommend stopping by the official visitor's center and a speaking to the very friendly and knowledgeable folks that work there. We have already recommended the house to several of our friends and family. We look forward to our next visit.

Best Vacation Home Ever!

If wish I could take HFR with me wherever I travelled! It was the best overall experience we have ever had staying in a vacation home. From the time we booked, Garett was prompt and very informative in replying. The house is AMAZING!! It’s very spacious, has a Viking range in the kitchen, there are too many walk-in cedar closets to count, the furniture is solid wood and well made, there are loads of board games and outdoor games, two patios for dining. It’s such a comfortable home and very clean. I agree with previous visitors, the photos do not do this property justice. Cornville is a small, quaint town. A bistro (Up the Creek) is down the road and 3 wineries are within 1/2 a mile. Whole Foods is 20 mins away in Sedona. Star gazing at night is incredible. However, our family enjoyed most of all the wildlife! It was amazing … waking up to 6 deer outside our window, beautiful peacocks strolling the yard, seeing Javelina (from a distance!), hummingbirds feeding, gophers, etc … After all day hiking, this is the PERFECT retreat to come home to. I can’t say enough positive things about HFR & Garett. Thank you; our family will never forget our experience here!

Beautiful Southwest

Great location and beautiful southwest ranch style home, loved seeing the horses & peacocks, saw lots of birds including hummingbirds, a herd of mule deer and javelinas wandering the property, we loved it!

Large and spacious home

This house is much larger that it appears and was set up very well. The location is great, close to wineries and Sedona without the crowds.

Beyond Amazing

I have stayed at many places and this place is the best I’ve ever stayed in, by far. The ranch is teaming with animals both tame and wild and the views are spectacular. The host, Garett, has thought of everything you could possibly think of to need while at the ranch: dish soap, laundry soap, games, books, flashlights, sunburn spray, even coffee! He is also wonderful to work with as a host. He is quick to respond to messages and goes out of his way to ensure an amazing experience at the ranch. If you enjoy nature and peace and quiet whilst on holiday, you will not go wrong choosing the ranch for your place to stay. The ranch is well worth the money and you will not be disappointed. Mini vacation

Very quiet and very clean. Property manager was very quick to respond and helpful. Very nice that it supplied coffee, dishwasher detergent, laundry items, etc.
