Our stay at La Mirage was fantastic. The condo was roomy and clean with all kitchen appliances (with the exception of toaster) The short walk to the beach was beautiful and convenient. The condo grounds were clean and inviting with beautiful pools and plenty of family games. We look forward to returning!!!

Enjoyed the renovated condo, would have given 5 stars however the condo had a funny smell the first few days. Condo is a little further from main restaurants and shops, but only a short drive by car or golf cart down the beach. Overall it worked for us and our visiting family that also rented in La Mirage.

Girls trip

Had a great trip. Couple of things tho. I would say it does not fit 5 adult women comfortably. The guest room is too small of a bed for 2 adults unless it’s maybe your partner and you want to snuggle. There is a pull out couch but takes up the entire space.Also we ran out of toilet paper in both bathrooms twice. So there should be a stash of toilet paper in each bathroom. Also not being able to adjust the thermostat below 70 at night was a no go. 5 menopausal women get hot when we sleep especially with humidity. Those were the only things we would have suggested or talked about. Otherwise great little place

Short spring break

It was very nice to have two hot tubs and two pools. The heated pool was perfect as when we can it was a bit of a drop in temperature. The shower was the only complaint just have to wait a few minutes for the water to be warm again

Good location and beach access. The condo itself was clean and nicely decorated but the resort overall needs some upgrades for appearance and maintenance.

Halloween in Port Aransas

Overall the place was lovely. Clean home, clean pool, short walk to the beach. Short drive to town for groceries, shopping, or food. The hide-a-bed couch was very uncomfortable but it was at least a bed. Only thing I really wished could be improved was we had to buy all the beach stuff we used. Would have been a nice touch to have a trunk full of beach accessories to use and maybe some board games to play with. The last place we rented had that stuff and made a much more fun experience for the family without having to buy everything to use. We don’t live at the beach so we don’t even have a use for that stuff at home. Other than that the place was great. We loved it. Thank you for letting us use your home. 5 stars!!!

Good vacation with a few negatives

We had a great vacation. We were there 4 days/3 nights. The complex was nice and quiet, and has great beach access via the boardwalk. The portion of the beach in front of the condominium complex is not as heavily used as closer to Port Aransas. The complex has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. They all looked very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. We enjoyed this quieter part of Mustang Island. The condo was well equipped with new appliances, new washer/dryer, furnishings & great patio furniture and very comfortable bedding. The bathrooms were well equipped and clean. There were a few negatives. The dishes we pulled out of the cabinets on the first day were dirty - still had crusted on food. And there was a skillet that had been left crusted with black burnt food. That is probably one thing that led to our finding roaches in this pan and the cabinets and a couple on the floors. Another negative was the musty smell of a unit with issues keeping down the humidity. The A/C ran non-stop the entire time, but the musty, mildewy smell was always there and we had to put things like towels and swimsuits in the dryer to get them to dry because of the humidity. At night, we sprayed essential oil sprays on our pillowcases to not have to smell it all night.

Perfect clean location

I reallY Ed enjoyed this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in the location I was impressed how spacious and clean the unit was. Then went out to the balcony and much larger than what is shown in the picture. That was a great surprise. I flagged this location and plan on trying to stay here again
