Great stay and location…

It was a great stay, loved the ocean and the people were very nice. Enjoyed riding up and down the beach on a buggy :)

Worked well for our family of 4 vacation

The large shower/tub combo was truly the highlight for the family. I loved the view from the condo. You still see the ocean even though you’re up next to the dunes.

The location was fantastic and right on the beach. The condo was just right for my family of four and the kids were obsessed with the beautiful pool area. The beds were comfortable and clean. Overall cleanliness was ok ( the baseboards and grout could use a good scrub). The only real downside was that there was no ice maker and no ice trays. No ice on the beach wasn’t ideal.

Perfect family vacation

Our boys loved the beach and the heated pool. The pool water was nice and warm. The unit was up to date and perfect for our family.

Amazing!

We absolutely loved staying here! The condo was very clean, stocked with everything we needed and had a beautiful ocean view! The shower/bathtub are wonderful! The front desk let us borrow sand toys and paddle boards for free! My kids loved playing ping ping and swimming in the pools. The close access to the beach was wonderful! We definitely would love to return!

Very nice stay. Weird stains on some of the bedding and the toilet is way to small for grown humans. Other than that it was great!@

Great quiet beach get away.

We loved being within walking distance to the beach and it was pretty secluded. The room itself was very nice and comfortable for us. Buy groceries since there are not any grocery stores nearby. It has a full kitchen which is perfect for cooking. The shower was so nice. The pools were also perfect for people with small children.

Will be back!

We had an amazing time here at this condo. Other than a very few little cleaning issues the property was perfect. We loved the way it was decorated and it was exactly as described in the listing. The resort pools were fabulous and you can't beat the easy boardwalk access to the beach. The views are beautiful and the people at the Mayan Princess are very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Cute & comfortable

The rental is adorably decorated, in a fabulous location & has great amenities! The view from the patio is superb! Dunes & waves with my coffee? Yes, please! Want to take a break from the ocean? No problem- check out the pools! Our family had an amazing time & hope that you will enjoy this location as much as we did!

This was nicely located between Port Aransas and Padre Island. The view of the ocean is very limited. The balcony's are no private whatsoever. Condo was clean enough... Make sure to read the whole email on how to unlock the front door.

The house itself is well decorated, clean, and location is perfect. The only change is the washer needs to be replaced. It has mold growing in it and the clothes don’t smell clean. Other than that it’s perfect. I love how you can walk from the pool to the beach. We went back and forth all day.

Have been going to Port Aransas my entire life but had never stayed at Mayan Princess. Staff was wonderful. Grounds are immaculate. Condo was amazing.Bed was very comfortable. Loved the couch with chaise! Rainfall showers head in oversized shower with soaking tub was an unexpected plus. Balcony overlooking the beach is really nice but didn’t get to use it as much as I wanted. Would definitely stay here again, for longer if possible. Thank you!

Nice place right on the beach

We loved that this place was right on the beach. My kids especially loved the pools and the bunk beds. The big shower/tub area was also a hit. The beds were comfy. Overall, it was mostly clean (I am SUPER picky- so I noticed the baseboards /grout were in need of a good scrub). I had some issues with accessing wi-fi on my phone and there was NO cell signal. I was able to access on my laptop, but coverage was spotty. There is no icemaker in the fridge and no trays to make ice. This was kind of a sore deal, being at the beach and could easily be solved by providing a few plastic ice trays. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I think there is some room to improve, but we would come again.

Dirty place needs a deep cleaning BROKEN old elevator trapped my family

The room had visible mold all over the shower/ bath tile. The place could really use a good deep cleaning tons of dust and dirt build up throughout the condo. Rugs need to be cleaned. Also my family got stuck in the HOT elevator over 25 minutes it was an awful experience to say the least.

Great resort property amenities, ok condo

The bedroom lets a ton of light in at night due to the blinds not able to fully close. Blackouts would go a long way in that room. The washing machine was moldy and did not look sanitary to use for our clothing, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the bedding due to the mold in the washing machine. The convenience and amenities of the resort location make it a great place to be, the homeowner just needs to do some updates at this property

Family Getaway

Great little efficiency unit. The Mayan Princess is a group of privately owned condos so each unit is kept up per the owner. This until was well done and well kept. The pictures are accurate. Only downside is that the kids sleep in the main area so parents will likely need to retire to their room or the balcony when the kids go to sleep. As for the Mayan Princess, it is an older property and while they are doing work on the pools to give them a facelift, the communal property is showing signs of its age. The hot tub worked and one of the pools is heated which was needed for a cooler than expected spring break. The nearby beach is about 8 miles south of the busier Port A beach. So if you are looking for a little quieter beach experience, this is the place for you.

Great Location. Room needs work.

Location was perfect. Pool facility was well kept. Room needs work. It wasn't cleaned well. Ceiling boards were buckling. Dryer didn't work well. Bathroom was amazing. Kitchen worked for what we needed. Layout was comfortable and easy to function in. I feel like the price of the rental itself was on par for the area. However the additional owner fees were absurd especially walking into a room that wasn't well cleaned and then being asked to clean before we leave. Oh and the internet listed on the board didn't exist. We had to use the public wifi which is of course unsecured.
