  • Welcoming independent stone villa with private pool situated in panoramic location on the hills around Cortona. The house interiors are nicely furnished in a typical Tuscan style.
    This estate, surrounded by beautiful woods and valleys, offers extensive views over the surrounding landscape and is an ideal destination for those who appreciate the peace of the Tuscan country-side and at the same time wish to visit the beautiful art cities of the area such as the charming medieval town of Cortona and Arezzo.
    Distances: the small town of Portole with food shops 6 km away, Cortona with all kinds of shops 13 km, Città di castello 40 km, Arezzo 40 km, Lake Trasimeno 30 km away.
    At guests’ disposal: furnished garden, nice large private swimming-pool (7 x 14 m – min. depth 1,2 m - max. depth 2,4 m), playground for children, table-tennis, barbecue. Washing-machine and ironing facilities available.
    Parking within the grounds.
    Extra services: Baby bed free of charge available on request.

Un posto davvero fantastico e ricco di pace, ottimo per rigenerarsi. Piscina splendida. Proprietaria davvero gentile. Consigliatissimo. Solo una segnalazione, non un punto a sfavore anzi forse un plus ma è bene ricordarlo: il primo centro abitato è Cortona e sta a 20 minuti di macchina. Infine un suggerimento alla proprietà: avvisate che il giardino non è recintato. Per chi porta con se animali domestici puo' essere una informazione importante.

La villa è bella e completa di tutto con una piscina stupenda in un contesto bellissimo. Purtroppo dalla descrizione non si capisce ma la casa è all'interno di una corte e dalla casa alla piscina c'è una strada in comune con le altre case del complesso. Le case sopra "affacciano" sulla piscina, dove manca la privacy. In considerazione di questo il prezzo è decisamente alto.

Très jolie maison en pleine forêt, à 20 minutes de Cortone, endroit très calme et plaisant. Belle piscine, nous avons apprécié cette semaine sur place Les propriétaires sont charmants et on répondu à toutes nos questions très rapidement. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Schönes Haus mit 2 SZ und einem Schlafplatz auf der oberen Etage. 3 Badezimmer. Pool zur exclusiven Nutzung, allerdings werden in unmittelbarer Nähe zwei weitere Objekte mit separaten Pools vermietet. Kurvenreiche Anfahrt in sehr ruhige Lage. Möglichst vorher einkaufen, es sind 30 min bis zum nächsten Supermarkt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett.

L’hôtesse est très réactive, agréable et flexible; Les photos ne sont pas d’actualité mais ça n’enlève en rien au charme de la maison Margherita Due! L’emplacement est un peu éloigné de tout, commerces, restaurants, mais très proche de Cortona qui mérite le détour ! Petit bémol sur les équipements de base: malgré le passage du Covid, du savon douche et un petit nécessaire de cuisine de base pour les premiers jours aurait été bienvenu, au vu de l’éloignement de l’emplacement ! La maison est cependant très propre! Il faut juste être à l’aise avec les chiens du quartier, qui sont habitués des lieux et nous ont laissé des « cadeaux » côté terrasse… ???? avec un chien nous-mêmes, nous avons frôlé les incidents diplomatiques par moments! Je continue cependant à vanter les mérites de cette maison, qui offre une vue spectaculaire sur les collines de la Toscane et des couchers de soleil renversants !

Wassermangel und toller Pool

Eine Woche Aufenthalt Mitte August 2021. Das herausragende an dem Haus ist zweifelsohne der große und private Pool. Allerdings hatte sich im Laufe einer Woche ziemlich viel Dreck angesammelt ohne das eine Reinigung stattfand. Also haben wir selbst Hand angelegt. Das Haus für sich ist eher klein, von der Ausstattung unterer Durchschnitt und wir würden es nicht wieder buchen. Es gibt keine Fliegengitter und so zwangsweise einiges an Getier im Haus. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr hellhörig, heizen sich ziemlich auf und ohne Klimaanlage. Die Betten fanden wir relativ hart und unkomfortabel. Das Wlan ist nur phasen- und stellenweise gut nutzbar, oft hat man keinen Empfang. Modernes TV im WZ mit uraltem Receiver (wir sehen im Urlaub eh kein TV) ohne deutsches Programm. TV oben mieserabel. Das Angebot an Geschirr und Besteck war für uns schlecht. Zerkratzte Pfannen kennt man ja, aber so billiges Besteck, dass man nicht richtig essen kann weil sich alles verbiegt finden wir nicht annehmbar. Bei dem Preis könnte man doch ein wenig investieren. Einfaches Metallbesteck täte es doch auch!? Draußen sitzen kann man super. Entweder am Pool, oder direkt am Haus. Da hat man sich wirklich Mühe gemacht. Die Lage ist weit oben und weg von der nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Ca. 15km bis Cortona, auf halber Strecke gibt es eine Bar in Portole wo man ein paar Sachen wie Brot, Käse, etc. kaufen kann. Das Haus ist umgeben von anderen Häusern, man hat dennoch seine Ruhe, fühlt sich dadurch aber recht sicher. Tagsüber bekommt man Besuch von Katzen, Hunden was die mitreisenden jungen Damen als angenehm empfanden, Abends und Nachts trifft man auch unmittelbar vor der Tür auch mal auf Wildschweine, glücklicherweise handelte es sich um kleinere Exemplare.

Fab stay in a tranquil end of the world

The stay was fantastic, bagnolo is relatively remote and wild, real nature. The house just fitted our needs, big, beautiful and charming. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the pool almost every day. Just was what we were looking for! Close enough to Cortona, can have dinner at the agroturismo restaurant the owners run on the back of the house or drive a couple of miles down to Portole restaurant. Everything you will need for an apartment holiday was provided. No doubt will be back sometime. Thanks.

Beautiful view and oasis of rest. Leave your phone behind and enjoy the sunset and nature. Very welcoming hosts! It’s a bit of a drive of the mountain to Cortona (20’) and Trassimeno (40’), but the route is really scenic!

L alloggio dista circa 30 minuti da Cortona con passaggio attraverso strada di montagna piena di curve…una volta arrivati il posto merita il viaggio…nella pace più assoluta delle colline toscane/umbre…il cellulare non prende ma c’è il Wi-Fi….piscina pulita e di grande dimensioni…spazi abbondanti….lo consiglio per una vacanza in totale relax…aime però credo che il prezzo sia eccessivo (parere personale)

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!!!!! Dieses Ferienhaus lässt einen jede Sekunde genießen. Wir wurden herzlich und freundlich empfangen, ein gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe wurde uns übergeben. Die Vermieterin Margerita ist immer für einen da, diskret und und fleißig immer um alle Pflanzen und die Grünanlage auf dem gesamten Anwesen bemüht. Der große Pool ist vom Morgen bis zum Abend sonnendurchflutet. Margerita hat in ihrem Haus noch ein kleines Restaurant, dass sie liebevoll betreibt und von Montag bis Freitag für wenig Geld tolle Gerichte zubereitet. Die gesamte Anlage ist ca. 20 Minuten von Cortona weg, doch die Fahrt lohnt sich in jedem Fall. Margerita hat dort 4 Ferienhäuser jedes mit eigenem Pool und in diskreten Abständen zueinander. Wer Ruhe, Erholung und Entspannung sucht, ist hier Bestens aufgehoben. Wir werden bestimmt unseren nächsten Urlaub dort verbringen. Grazie Margerita! Romeo, Gaby & Lilly

Hm...

Pool war voller Insekten und Vogeldreck, was nicht zu vermeiden ist, aber es war nichts Brauchbares zum Saubermachen da. Die Einrichtung in der Küche war alt und schäbig. Verranzte Kaffeemaschine, kein Toaster wie beschrieben. Sauberkeit ok, aber in jede Ecke durfte man nicht schauen. Sind vorzeitig abgereist, da Skorpione im Haus waren, was aber anscheinend normal für die Zeit ist. Sind auch nicht wirklich giftig. Wollten es aber trotzdem nicht.

Nous avons été surpris par la beauté et la tranquillité de la Villa Margherita. Nous avons apprécié une semaine avec nos trois enfants et nous n'avons jamais été aussi détendus. Les vues sont meilleures que n'importe quelle carte postale et la villa est exceptionnellement bien aménagée et équipée. La Villa est au centre de tout ce que la Toscane a à offrir, la semaine a passé rapidement et nous voulons tous y retourner un jour.

Me and my family stayed at Margherita Due for a week in June and we highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful Tuscan vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the outdoor area is well kept. There is a beautiful view from the pool and the lovely town of Cortona has a lot of great restaurants.

Me and my family stayed at Margherita Due for a week in June and we highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful Tuscan vacation.
