  • Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. At "Cool Waters" you will enjoy the seclusion and beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains on the "quieter side of the Smokies." with the Cosby Entrance to the GSMNP Park only a 5 min drive away. This is the perfect location for white water rafting on the Pigeon River, kayaking, distilleries, wineries, zip lining and more. Only a mere 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg and its many attractions, it's a perfect home base to explore the riches of the area.

Our stay was perfect. The host was extremely prompt and helpful. The neighborhood was just outside the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was nicely stocked with everything needed plus snacks, coffee, and robes. The hot tub was perfect for two and you could sit and listen to the creek after a long day of hiking. We would highly recommend this host and cabin.

This cool cabin was great! The only thing it is a little further out than I thought. But other than that it’s cute place. We enjoyed the hot tub. I wish we would have brought firewood for the fire place it’s really cozy! Denise was a great host and always answered any questions I asked!

Such a great little cabin outside of the busyness!

This stay was an anniversary trip for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the cozy cleaniness of this little cabin. The hottub was very relaxing and listening to the little creek that ran next to it was so peaceful. Denise was a great host!

Cool Way Cabin

This was a great place to stay for a short getaway close to the Smokies. Denise was a great host and very friendly and easy to get a hold of. The Cabin was in great shape and had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the area.

Cozy Retreat

We came to see the Great Smoky Mountains, and we are so glad we found this cozy retreat away from it all. Our favorite part was soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking all over the mountains and town. Denise is a wonderful host who took good care of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Most romantic getaway spot in the GSM

I am so thankful we picked this cabin to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary, it was absolutely perfect. Denise was an amazing host she was very responsive and made sure everything went very smoothly we will definitely be back

Denise is so attentive to all your needs. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Decor is cozy and kitchen is well-stocked. This is the second property we have enjoyed by Denise and Doug. With a new grandbaby coming soon, we will be back!
