“We stayed in the Kilauea condo, which is surrounded by tropical rain forest. Very romantic. Carlos prepared a nice breakfast for the two days that we stayed. We were blessed to be there one night when Kilauea erupted. The manager texted us and we were among the first people there. Amazing experience. The only negative is that the wifi is limited so download anything you want to watch before you come or enjoy the view and read a book”

“This place is confortable and super well situated for visiting Volcanoes National Park, which was our goal. Hot tub is a great bonus. The place was nice and clean, but does not have much cookware. If you're OK eith this, it is a great rental.”

“This property is situated in a rainforest like area. However, the house/ rooms are dated. The area is humid and the humidity impacts everything. The room was not the cleanest and while I was there the water went out. There was not the best communication as to when the water was fixed and complete. There are other places near here that are better to stay. ”

“My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) “Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up.”

“It was late at night when we got to this VRBO. The instructions told us to walk down a path that would be lighten but it was completly pitch back and we were walking in the middle of a rainforest. Once we figured out where we were, we typed the code and got the key. We walk in and the place is a mess. Dirty sheets, dirty towels all over, food everywhere, clearly not ready for us to be there. We text the property owner and he thankfully responded quickly. He gave us the code to the other room....
