“We stayed 3 nights in The Gaulala Cottage. The room had a great view from the deck. The property is older and a little rustic. Everything was clean for the most part. The sleeper sofa would be fine for a younger child, not so good for a young adult. Communication and Parking were both good. The driveway is steep. Beware if you have a car that sits low. ”

“We drove up to the cottage and noticed three deer in the yard, one quietly napping, two eating. As we got out of the car, they looked up and continued to remain where they were. The quiet, peaceful yard gave them a sanctuary and set the tone for our long weekend. It was perfect. The beach was a quick walk away, one we made frequently each day. “The place was nice, the skylights were covered so it wasn’t exactly as listed. There were a couple things we learned about the property right before our trip, which we would have preferred to know before going. While we booked through VRBO, Vacasa managed it which was not ideal. Once we were connected with the local property manager that was great - she was awesome.”
