“The location is lovely; ocean front with a nice balcony to enjoy the view. Everything else was way below expectations. We arrived at 9:30 pm and there was no one at the reception; they just left the keys and an emergency number to call. The shower in one of the rooms didn’t work; the room’s décor was so excessively golden and overdone that I wondered if at some point it had been a love hotel, and on top of that it was already outdated. I really don’t understand how it has such a high rating.”

“The check in and out very convenient. The staff also quite friendly. The view from the top of the tower beautiful. I stayed in the Raven room in the water tower, it was quite dusty, I understand there is a lot of wood and antiques,however it can be dusted or wiped down with a damp cloth. The baseboards,door ridges etc. It made me concerned about how much effort is put into sanitizing touched surfaces. The first night very quiet and enjoyable. “Absolutely gorgeous location! Very much off the beaten path. All you could hear is forest sounds and the ocean in the distance. Great getaway if you want to disconnect for a while and get back to nature. Lots of stuff to do. Lots hiking, kayaking, horseback riding. Plenty of places to eat. Definitely will be back, but for longer! Excellent host too! Great communication. Very clean location, well maintained. Can't recommend enough!”

“Everything was perfect...my host was so kind, helpful and friendly. The property is so beautiful and peaceful. The home had everything I needed and was so beautifully decorated, really well done esthetically. The bathhouse was just as well done as the home. I was traveling up the coast to Trinidad, and this was a perfect stop over, however I wish I would have planned to stay longer. I will definitely be back and look forward to a longer stay.
