“It was a really good trip to the yha in Swanage as it was really clean and the bed was comfy and the bedding was cosy and comfortable and the price was very reasonable I didn’t use the lounge or bar so can’t comment about those things or the kitchen overall it was a good experience ”

“We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early.”

“It was a grade 2 listed building which added to the lustre of the building, (due to this there is no lift, so be prepared to use the heavily carpeted stairs). Only breakfast available, this is a first class breakfast. ”

“No real issues with the Hotel, it's a little dated in places, but comfortable and the breakfast was good. The view from the Bistro / Bar is amazing. Our room (220) suffered a little from road noise but was otherwise fine. The curtains definitely need to go back to the eighties though!”

The breakfast was really good, there was plenty of choice including a traditional cooked breakfast, kippers or haddock and eggs also cereal, toast, and fruit. The service was really good, everyone was friendly and polite. Just a small warning, the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, though ideal situation for getting to the shops, restaurants and beach! ”
