We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. “The forest suite is a perfect spot to getaway from typical vacation accommodations. It is a very short drive to Mendocino, yet tucked away in the forest. The suite has everything you need and even some of the stuff you didn't think of, but your host did. Jennifer is very responsive and has created a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy.”

“We had coffee on the deck watching the waves and storms roll through. Right in the heart of Mendocino, you can walk the entire town from the front door. Really fun to see the place in the opening credits of Murder, She Wrote! Fantastic stay, definitely will be back!”

“My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,...

“You know that feeling you get when you get to the property and your first thought is, the pictures lied? Well, for this property, the pictures lied. They undersold the place! When we walked in the living room/dining room/kitchen open room was so big! And then we go to the two main bedrooms and our jaws dropped!
