“Ran out of hot water before finishing shower. Restaurant and bar are not open on Monday through Wednesday and this was not listed anywhere. There is only one Mexican restaurant in town.”

“I thought this “upscale” hotel would have great rooms. It is a fine Hotel but I think good value exists in the other hotels of Garberville. We received a small room for considerably more money than the competición. ”

“The road to get here is TREACHEROUS but the view is UNBEATABLE. Truly the most gorgeous sunrise I've ever seen. The room had a mostly smell and the bathroom could use an update.”

“VRBO-style check-in available any time, great for working professionals/people arriving late. Fantastic ocean views and an amazing beachfront breakfast downstairs. Staff is very responsive via text and have always been super accommodating. Overall fantastic service and experience.”

“Estuvo mal que no nos avisaran al llegar al hotel al momento de realizar el Check in que nos iban a despertar con una ruidosa obra que estaba al lado de nuestra ventana del cuarto LITERAL !!! Comenzaron los trabajadores a las 6:50 am!!! Y no estuvo nada bonito. El hotel tiene muy buena comida y seguramente sin la obra de estos días , podría ser buena experiencia estar ahí pero nosotros no tuvimos esa suerte. Otro punto importante: Una de las habitaciones olía muy mal, como a orina. Realmente...

“Muy linda, los trabajadores muy amables la alberca techafa me encanto todo limpieza el desayuno 10 de 10”

“The room has a fabulous view of the ocean and listening to the surf was just what we needed to relax and rest. Firm but very comfortable beds. The room was very clean.”

“Tuvimos una mala experiencia con la primer habitacion que nos dieron, estaba llena de pelos de perro por todos lados hasta la cama, pero la recepcionista nos asigno una mejor despues.”

“Great breakfast!”

“Wonderful historic hotel! Rooms are very charming. The restaurant and bar are fantastic - great drinks and delicious food. Perfect stay while you’re in Ferndale”

“Nos fue muy bien ”

“Very clean and friendly.”

“Very clean, long staircase, good, helpful staff. No water in kitchen area was awkward.”

“Solo la cortina estaba un poco sucia ”

“Si”

“We went to celebrate our birthdays together to enjoy and relax. The ocean view and sunset was spectacular in every room and balcony. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, plus some. Everything was close by, the beach, shops, restaurants and stores. I would definitely come back .”

“The location is lovely; ocean front with a nice balcony to enjoy the view. Everything else was way below expectations. We arrived at 9:30 pm and there was no one at the reception; they just left the keys and an emergency number to call. The shower in one of the rooms didn’t work; the room’s décor was so excessively golden and overdone that I wondered if at some point it had been a love hotel, and on top of that it was already outdated. I really don’t understand how it has such a high rating.”
