“The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring.”

“This was our first visit to Smith Island and the Double H was perfect. It was close to the ferry landing so getting there was very easy. The house was well appointed and felt like home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the quiet of the island and we were able to fully disconnect and relax Thank you for a great day.”
