“Beautiful cottage in the centre of Portscatho. Very spacious, family friendly and perfect for a half term holiday”

“Friendly and well”

“Close to Trebha gardens and stop at Maen Smith village pub on way back to hotel.”

“Muy buen hotel para unas vacaciones! Desayuno muy bueno, las instalaciones son excelentes y cerca de la playa”

“Great location”

“Perfect location - nothing better than going for a daily sea swim at the beach at the bottom of the garden. We had a garden view room with a balcony that looked through the gardens and to the sea - made for idyllic mornings and evenings. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.”

“Hotel en un edifici històric, força adequat. Habitació còmode. Personal molt amable. Esmorzar molt bo i variat i ambient tranquil. Bones vistes i ben situat”

“Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!”

“Superb guesthouse in convenient location close to city centre. Close to bus routes too. Very accommodating owners. Lovely, clean room with everything you could ask for. Brilliant continental breakfast including cereals, pastries, toast, fruit/fruit salad, cheese and yoghurts. Cake and hot drinks also available during the day. Communal fridge is useful to keep your own food fresh. Really lovely experience with amazing hosts. Highly recommended!”

“A great stay”

“We booked this room last minute for a great price so were honestly not expecting much. From the outset the welcome was great, every member of staff we came across was helpful and friendly. The view from our room was beautiful, over looking the sea. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Ok, the rooms aren't as contemporary as some I've stayed at but perfectly good. The breakfast room itself has a wonderful view and the breakfast didn't disappoint. It was good quality, hot...

“The inn keepers were awesome. Welcoming, attentive and friendly. My room was clean and comfy. Highly recommend the Chainlocker ”

“Very nice rooms, good breakfast”

“A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!”

“Me gusto mucho este lugar! Esta increíble, excelente lugar! Su personal muy amable. Recamaras muy acogedoras, definitivamente vuelvo!”
