The Gathering House: Fun outdoor nature vibes w pool 15 minutes to Waco, TX.

Gathering Oaks Retreat is located on 30 acres just outside of Waco and 15 minutes to Magnolia Market and downtown attractions. This is the perfect country escape after a busy day in town. Decorated with a fresh modern-rustic vibe, The Gathering House will include a newly renovated kitchen with a huge butcher block island for central gathering. The 41-foot enclosed patio features solid windows that frame the serenity of the property with sky-high live oaks. Each bedroom has luxurious linens, fresh decorations and is very clean! There are 4 full baths and 1 additional half bath upstairs.

Other guests may be on the property and have access to the courtyards, fire pits, and pool area. There are washers, ping pong, corn-hole, giant jenga, plus a seasonal pool for your enjoyment.

The Gathering House is usually only rented within a one month window based upon availability and seasonality. The Gathering House is part of Gathering Oaks Retreat as a whole which can be rented up to two years in advance with listing #960045. Gathering Oaks Retreat offers The 5 Bedroom Gathering House, a Two Bedroom Cottage, 4 Tiny Houses, and 9 King and Queen hotel suites on property sleeping up to 50 for reunions, retreats and weddings.

No daily hotel service or breakfast options. Fire pit, patio furniture, pool, and outdoor games are all shared spaces. We do not have natural gas and do not keep the hot tub heated 24/7 to save energy and keep things green. If you would like to request a hot tub reservation, October through April, we can warm it up remotely for a fee of $50 per hour. This fee is optional and and covers the private hot tub reservation, extra power and prep, but is totally worth it for that perfect evening dip under the stars! Feel free to bring your own fire wood (no cedar) to light the fire pit at your convenience.
