“Staying in the Round Lake Beach area to visiting family. Room is great and clean. Pretty view of Fox Lake. Only draw back is it is over a bar. Karaoke comes right up through the floor. Not to much of a problem as the bar closes at 11:00. So just have to suffer through the drunken super star want a be singers. It is good for some laughs. Over all I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. ”

“The apartment was clean (although at one point, someone must have smoked in the apartment…I am ultra sensitive) and the bed was comfortable. It was only a 10 minute walk to downtown Arlington Heights, which was great, and a five minute walk to the post office! The only drawback to this place was the very loud air conditioner. It was like a jet engine…and it was only in one room.We used a supplied box fan for the bedroom. Overall, though, we had a nice stay.”

“This was a fantastic stay. If ever I am back in Chicagoland, this is where I am staying. So much fun and convenient to the northeast suburbs of the city, including Waukegan and Gurnee. Not for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet. The bar is hopping with the locals eager to welcome you to chit chat and share a drink or two. Bring ear plugs if you want to go to bed before 2am.
