The property is clean and well located to DFW airport, but communication with the host was unsatisfactory. Initially, he was very accommodating allowing 2 children to enter the property for Thanksgiving. However, a cold front hit the area the first night of our stay and we noticed the heat was not working. When I contacted to host, his response was that the unit was just inspected and that one of the units was still on cool. When I asked where the second thermostat was, I was ignored. I eventually found it, but the heat was still clearly not working. We spent 2 days in a 63-65 degree house. After my second, more aggressive plea for heat, he sent a technician who confirmed the heater wasn’t working. The host never contacted me to confirm the heater was fixed or offer to accommodate us for the inconvenience. It’s clear this is a rental property from the spartan accommodations (no bath mats or cabinet handles) and the lack of concern by the host for his visitors comforter.
