“Our 3-night stay at Hotel Old Cinema was one of the highlights of our trip around Cambodia. The boutique accommodation, with its sublime art deco decor, features well-appointed suites, superb pool area and luxe bar. The staff are fantastic, and breakfasts feel like a special occasion. Step out of the lobby onto the footpath and you are in amongst the action of Kampot. A wonderful stay that comes with our highest recommendation.”

“We spent 2 nights at the resort, and it truly felt like “home away from home”. All staff are wonderful and had been super helpful. We felt warm and welcomed throughout our stay. “The hotel clearly needs improvement- the bathroom is not a bathroom. The shower is old and impossible to manage, the door doesnt close and the TV doesnt work. When you are on vacation what you want is something that eases your experience. We left the hotel the next day and didnt ask for a refund. We booked 4 nights. Other than that the owners and the staff were very kind. ”

“Fantastique séjour que nous avons choisi de prolonger malgré le fait que nous avions déjà réglé notre prochain hôtel. “The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”
