When one sees the word penthouse - they think of not only a great view from the top floor - but all the niceties that go with that! Well, the view was great; however, that is kind of where it stopped! In this unit we believe all the appliances in the kitchen were from when the building was built 25 years ago - they all worked but just looked old! Things like the burner ring with drip pan in the electric stove not matching, the coffee pot lid being from another system thereby making it always a chore to keep on! The furniture was not that comfy because of course it’s all hideabeds The dining table and chairs were very small (like ice cream parlor type)! Ceiling fan in living room and windows to deck needed desperate cleaning. The structure which made the deck needed power washing - but we could live with all of this! However when you only have 4 forks in the drawer - one wonders how this unit could be advertised as sleeps 8!!! You would be very crammed with 8 - but the worst was the non operable barely dripping shower head! The worst shower on the road I’ve ever had! A total update and good deep cleaning of this unit would be my suggestion! The pool areas were wonderful - but drinks at the cabana were 12-14…..too rich for our blood for a 6 oz. Drink!!! The good thing is you don’t hear all the traffic noise up on tbe 19th floor and the quick elevator made that “high living” even more enjoyable! There was so much on floor of closet hard to hang items!

This place was great for our five days in Daytona. The location and view are fantastic. You have plenty of things around within walking distance. But almost everything you need within a 10 minute drive. The view from the balcony are some of the best views you can get in Daytona. John and Andrea are amazing hosts and respond very quickly. We actually arrived a day sooner than expected, and they worked with us to make it happen. All around was an amazing stay!

It was mostly clean but could tell it needs a deep clean. We stayed 7 days, could have used more than 1 kitchen towel and hooks of some kind in the bathroom. Table lamp in bedroom didn’t work. Appreciated the space, view and washer/dryer. Overall a good stay.

This resort is awesome for families. We have stayed here several times. This time was not so pleasant. There were a few things that could be much improved, such as the beds, including pullout sofas. These are very worn. The bed frame were unstable. The mattresses on the beds and pullouts were terrible. We were counting on using both pullouts but there were no extra left linens or pillows. Not convenient at 10pm when trying to put 3 kids to bed. The balcony light didn’t work until we screwed it in. The table lamp bulb was blown. Sand sand and more sand, no vacuum or broom for cleanup. On the 4th night, doing laundry and a bed bug was found in the dryer. I did reach out to the host and they were responsive. However no apologies or offer provided. Just send a picture… seriously. These are big ticket items and we won’t stay in the unit again.

It was an unforgettable experience. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise directly from the balcony on the top floor was simply mesmerizing. The panoramic beach views were spectacular and truly enhanced our stay.The accommodation itself was impeccable—everything was clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Our kids had a fantastic time exploring the resort's amenities, particularly enjoying the pool and lazy river. It was the perfect place for family fun and relaxation.Overall deserves a solid five-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene beach retreat with all the comforts and conveniences you could wish for. We can't wait to return!

Family friendly

Absolutely loved that the property felt like a resort. Everything was so easily accessible we didn’t even need to leave the building. Such a great location. The amenities were great for our family with kids ranging from 8-1yrs. The pools were fantastic and my older kids loved the DJ and activities during the day. We will definitely be back!

Perfect

This has to be one of the best spots on the beach! The resort feels are real. The lazy river, 2 large outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, multiple hot tubs. Indoor and outdoor bars. My family and I absolutely loved this location. Amazing ocean views, sun rise and sun sets are incredible. Lots of restaurants, shops and quick store runs, all walking distance! Will definitely be back!

Great apartment, area not for us.

The apartment was absolutely fine, had everything one could need, even a kettle!Great view from the 19th floor. The complex was a bit disappointing, the "heated" pool didn't appear to be heated at all so couldn't use that one. The weather restricted us from using the other pools. Didn't appear to be any decent proper restaurants nearby, had to drive every time. Parking was on site and was easy. So nice accommodation, just not in the right place for us.

Terrible Experience

To start off our vacation, we arrived at the room to find that the kickplate that locks the door was not in place and we waited for over two hours to have it be replaced. Then as we were getting ready to turn in for the night, we started to get the couch ready to find out that that was also broken with metal sticking up.. the management offered to have an air mattress brought up but for the price that we paid I declined that. The owner John said that he would do a partial refund for the experience and has not done it as of right now I would not stay in this location if you had the option.

Good Room Great Location

Overall this was a great room, and I would stay there again. There were two issues with this unit, the pullout bed was broken. They did send up an air mattress, but if your listing calls out a pull out bed, you should make sure the bed is functional. Also, this is not the owners fault, but the deadbolt didn’t latch. Three different maintenance guys came but instead of adjusting the strike plate to work, they just replaced it with another incorrect strike plate. The resort was fantastic and the location was great. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Nice place, but…..

The condo was nice, but not cleaned well. There was lots of dust and a funky smell. We found a cup and silverware behind the balcony curtain. The tub looked extremely old and dirty. Just think it was stained. There were six people and two queen beds. There was also a pull out sofa bed that was broken. We had to put a chair under the frame at the sofa to hold the mattress up. It was extremely uncomfortable. The view from the 19th floor was beautiful.

Best place ever for vacation!!

This is the third time staying at Ocean Walk. We know it’s gonna be clean, the location is great and the kids love it. Always our choice when coming to Daytona Beach. It’s just so convenient to everything. Hopefully we will be back next year!!

Penthouse 1910

My stay was great as usual at this place. I always come back here. Everything was wonderful except for my last day. My air went out about 7:00 that evening I couldn't sleep. I got up at 2:00 in the morning because it was cooler down in the lobby. Someone finally came and looked at it about 8:45 the next day and I didn't get there until 2:00 so I was without air for 15 hours. The lady at the front desk wasn't very helpful. I told her I might check out early because of this. She just said okay. That's fine then the manager called me. He helped me more than anything. Overall it was a fantastic stay as usual. It just was awful on the last day with no air and with little help to repair it. So I had to wait about 8 hours for a maintenance man to come do something about it. But it is what it is. But I will stay at this place again but hoping if I have problems it will be resolved quicker. But on a different note, you guys have an awesome place. It's an awesome area with great views and again I would definitely book this again.
