The candlelight breakfast is delicious and don't ,if at all possible, don't miss the tour of the house following breakfast. It is very informative not only about the history of the mansion but covers many key points about the Siege of Vicksburg during the civil war. Our stay was short, but we will be back. ”

“The house is beautiful, it’s a great experience, the breakfast and the after tour. But there is a BIG BUT…we stay in the siege room because we didn’t want to spend that much because we were arriving late, and it’s was just a night and we were planning to wake up early ande leave because we had a long drive home, so that said… I would definitely stay here again but I would never book the siege room…you don’t have privacy, you enter the room through the kitchen so you feel a little bit awkward,...
