“I do not typically stay in B&B's. Long story. But this entire experience was an absolute delight. The owners are adorable and friendly. The house is beautiful in a fantastic location, easily walkable to the main part of Natchez. You want to go to Natchez and stay in a museum? This is the spot.”

“Stayed @ Ross Mansion for the Hattiesburg Half Marathon. Walking distance to the start/finish. Discovered so many great new restaurants & shops downtown. Close to train depot. Looking @ a future stay tied to a train trip to Laurel. Gerry & Jenny were great hosts. Left for the race early & were not returning until after breakfast. So they made fruit yogurt parfaits the night before for us. Love the history & all the special pieces.”

“When you stay at The Pillars, you’re transported to yesteryear, when things were quieter, softer, more genteel than present day. Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century.”
